East Brunswick chips were from Canada, I believe. That's why there was french on the bottom.

It is Walkers because that's what it was originally. The company was bought by Lay's and Lay's kept the name. It is also Walker's in Ireland and it is Smith's in Australia.

Walkers Crisps (1948) are called Walkers as that is what they started as and PepsiCo wanted to keep customer brand loyalty in the UK for brand recognition, when introduced to the rest of the world they just called them lays

ben the reason is the years ago walkers was a crisps company then was bought by lays but they kept the old name, i guessing due to the walkers brand name being more known in the uk and new brunswick is a place in canada land
