That's bollocks. It's a known fact that for Tim the role was just... a role. Tony Head was living Frank on stage, and you can see how much fun he has. I think it's a matter of Tim-was-in-the-movie-so-he-has-to-be-better. A common misconception. For a lot of the true Rocky Horror fans Tony Head is one of the best if not the best Frank ever.

Tim was the best at the time of casting the original show and still is one of the best but there is always going to be someone better. The fun factor does not always play onto the screen though but it may have done for Tim on the stage. Just so you know I have this DVD at home and it reads on the back "They are joined by Anthony Head, one of the best Franks ever..." which I agree with although he is not my favourite and nor is Tim Curry.
