I love the original a lot, but a dash of blended onions, packs a variation of flavor into these ripped chips. Our neighbor ManTee taught us how to do that. #TheLegendOfTheRippedChips👇🏾 The Ghanaian ripped chips was invented by Gadangbe women and we know how they love their ‘sweetitin things’...😋😋😋

When i heard you took a taste of it, the sound of the crunch made my mouth wata with saliva. Adding onions in the mixture can imagine the taste and flavor. Bringing back your favorite childhood snack is amazing especially introducing it to your kids telling them stories about it is priceless. I love the light golden color on the chips. I rather ripping and dropping it seems very easy. It's so satisfying to watch while frying it. I can't wait for the coated peanut recipe. Thanks for sharing your childhood snack with us. I remember this type of chips... growing up my aunties made it too, my mum and siblings are the type that took it upon themselves to do the cooking whenever there’s an occasion in the family .
