Today my aunt and uncle show us where to eat and explore in Yeonnamdong (near the famous Hongdae)! We begin with salted cream bread, then escalate to dinner with seasoned grilled chicken (dalk galbi). We are served the most epic Korean steamed egg I've ever encountered! Holy wowza, it steamed forever as you'll see in the video. We also try the fried chicken feet along with noodles. Watch to see the tasty journey unfold :)

That steamed egg continues to vent to this day 😆 #DatEpicMusicAndLandscapeDoe Btw have you ever tried chicken feet? Do you like it? I find that it is a lot of work to eat. You end burning more calories than gaining energy lol.

The eggs look Majestic 😍. I haven't had chicken feet yet, I heard there crispy lol. I had frog legs and they test like chicken and can be a little oily. Some of my family members had pickled pigs feet 😝

I tried it once at a dim sum place, they were steamed, and covered in chili oil. All bone, nearly no meat, lol, I kept dropping them since they were so soft and slick. I figured they would be better deep fried, but seems not. They also didn't have much of their own flavor, could just taste the chili oil. They were kinda meh for me but worth it for the laughs from my dinner companions.

sweetandtastyTV I don’t think so would like chicken feet I am up for many things but animal feet is not one of them. The grilled chicken wrapped in the radish looked amazing. Thank you for making my cold rainy day better! I can’t wait to go to Korea and try all these things at the end of the year 😊

Lol they're obviously not much older than her. I have twin uncles who are a few months younger than me (their dad and my paternal grandma were siblings)! I've also got cousins and nephews/nieces (cousins' children, to be more accurate) around the same ages so it's even more confusing to outsiders when they find out that a 10 years old girl (my cousin) is supposed to be called an aunt by a group of children ranging from 1 years old to 18 years old!

randomly random lol big families and/or a large age gap between some siblings (my paternal grandma and her youngest brother had a huge age gap - he's just some years older than my dad). Some people also have children early while some have them later in their 40s (example: a cousin started a family in her 20s while an uncle married in their 40s before having a kid) so that can also contribute to different family generations falling in the same age group or whatever.
