I understand that many of your male followers were initially brought in because they find you attractive. What I don't understand is the persistent need to be pervy about it. Love your attitude, love your channel, and I absolutely adore your accent. Wish I could have your voice on my GPS. With a few pops and whistles, it would be perfect. Anita Rules!

You have to put yourself in their shoes (unfortunately) what's pervy to you is normal conversation to them. Some are to young to truly understand the issues with their speech patterns, and others due to lack of social awareness, and social interaction have loss the ability to align their thought processing with what's socially acceptable in today's society. I'm not defending their actions, but there's two sides to every coin. Anita is doing nothing wrong but inadvertently creating a dumping ground for these individuals feel comfortable enough to share their weird antics. Part of it is also societies lack of respect, care, and understanding of female emotions that come as a result of harassment, and constant exposure to this type of disgusting smut.shut. Plus it doesn't help that a few streamers have used their influence over these thirsty individuals to line their pockets thus showing them it's OK to say weird crap, and share inner thoughts without thinking first.

This makes sense given her history with stalkers. Really, given that there are so many sh--ty men out there who stalk women they don't know, it is just a good idea for female internet personalities to ban creeps. There is no reason someone who doesn't know you, needs to know that you fantasize about them.

Agreed. :) It would also not surprise me to find out about female stalkers for any streamer. Most likely there are far fewer of those than male stalkers but I am fairly certain they exist. Creepy is creepy. Toxic is toxic. Trolls are trolls.

@@jamescurfman3284 They do exist, and *can* get just as intense, but yeah, they're less common. Probably in part because boys are more likely to be socialized from a young age in a way that breeds that kind of psychology, in part because of how misogyny spreads on the Internet through things like "incel" culture (and certain parts of gaming culture, which pushes women away), and in part - in the context of Twitch specifically - because of the self-perpetuating gender imbalance on the platform (which, again, is linked to gaming culture, which is what the majority of content on the platform is geared toward because that's most of the viewership because that's what the content...etc.). Basically, it's a whole lot of cultural factors, a lot of them cyclical and therefore hard to break, but yes, there are women as well, who exhibit the same kind of behavior.

They think they're special and that the object of their affection is going to be so impressed with their social skills and wit and that a relationship will spring out of it. Its not a rational line of reasoning as these ppl are unaware that they completely lack the social skills necessary to pick up a person from twitch...with thousands of other ppl talking with them daily. Its basically just lacking social skills to understand thwir behavior isnt acceptable.

Being angry is part of being human. It's sad that most of us think of human emtions as negative. It's best to let out anger in little doses instead of bursting like a volcano, and raging. Yeah that should be the difference, anger and rage. Sometimes you need anger to save the things you love and fans being angry is right, because they love you [creator on social media], don't just blatantly call all of them, haters. Anger is the reason we can fight and win wars, to save our place, otherwise we can't. Canada be more angry. I'll stop my rant now.

Sweet_Anita is the streamer I most often recommend, period, but especially to people who want to know about the positive side of streaming. I make sure they know there can be swearing due to the tics, but Sweet_Anita does so much good and is already a role model and inspiration for two of my co-worker's older daughters (one wants to be a streamer) and myself (I also want to be a streamer, but I don't blame Anita for that).

There's a tasteful way to compliment a woman, and theres what ever that was. if it was even a compliment. sounded more like a comment made out of hunger than anything else. but you do what you gotta do. I first heard about you from the Quartering. not gonna lie, pretty woman had my interest. found a lovely person with great charisma. then I realized, "holy shit, she's sane." mostly. but after watching your vids for a while I find comfort in someone with whom I can relate. no, I don't have Tourette's. I have narcolepsy. seeing you struggle with your tics but not let it get you down is really helping me deal with this fucking day time sleepiness. thank you for being you.
