Anyways I'm back with another video, I've always wanted to make a video about k-pop dances and this is my first one! There are a lot of female dance breaks out there and I've compiled most of them here in this video! Comment which one you liked the most and if you've learned some of these! There both from JYPe. Companies tend to have their focuses. SM focuses on vocals. YG tends to focus on rap and hip hop. JYP tends to focus on dance. Not to say that SM artists can't dance or JYP artists can't sing. It's just kind of their thing.

@@guendezfamily5662 I didn't mean to imply that any company focuses solely on any one thing. It's just that each company is known for focusing more on certain things than it does on other things. SM, for example, will put more emphasis on vocal ability when scouting new talent and their training focuses more on vocal training than anything else. This doesn't mean they will ignore a very talented dancer if one auditions for them. Nor does it mean they will ignore dance training for their artists. JYP, on the other hand, tends to focus more on the performance as a whole. This means a little less focus on vocals and a little more on visuals and dance. And before anyone comes at me, no, I'm not implying that SM has crappy dancers or that JYP has crappy vocalists. Obviously their all at the top of their field in all aspects. Otherwise they wouldn't be successful kpop artists.

Heavy on Likey, Dun dun, wannabe, stamp o n it, hylt, first, ddu du ddu du, ptt, HIP, Loco, Tomboy, Batter up, Dice, In my opinion they didnt just eat, THEY DEVOURED. GOBBLED.

as an InSomnia, I can safely say that Dreamcatcher focuses much on dance while never lacking in vocal or performance as a group. they always have difficult choreographies and all 7 members are super talented! Stan dc y'all

Agreed! It feels like boy groups love to focus a lot on jumping and flexing their abs,touching their crotches,grinding on the floor,biting and licking their lips while girl groups put so much diversity and interesting moves Even tho there might be some bg choreos that i like tho,like from pentagon,a.c.e,oneus,b.a.p,onlyoneof, cix,victon,e'last,the boyz,maybe sf9 ,thats it While i adore a LOT of GIRL GROUPS, i feel like some kara choreos are really underappreciated,bvndit aswell,gugudan,pristin,3ye,stayc,sistar,aoa,brown eyed girls,exid,weki meki,wjsn,gwsn and the list goes on

@damisdarling I don't know how much they're trained to perform well. But many of the recent groups absolutely needs vocal training. it's unfair that they're going viral and suppressing many other actual talented groups just bcoz of their catchy songs, good looks and hypes.
