It was a typical summer rain morning for us in Florida when I visited the nest today. The rains came and went, staying rainy longer than usual. I did not see M15 fly into the pastures but the female who has been 'traveling' with M15 did. She flew in from the south shortly after 8AM, watchful of the area (and most likely M15). Then she flew SE toward the river shortly after 9AM. You will see her tracking different directions, casting a pellet, rousing her feathers and preening. Since it is still early September no one can say if M15 and she will bond and become mates or not. We are only observers in their world.
