SWFL Eagles~ M15 Sees His Egg First Time & Incubates 💗 F23 Returns & M Stands By Her Side! 11.25.23

This is the moment we have all be waiting for after F23 laid her egg earlier tonight. Around 12:30am, M15 flies into the nest and F23 gives some vocals. She gets up and M15 is right there to peek and see what is on the nest and he greets his new egg! M15's long wait if over! 💗 They both stay on the nest for a few minutes and M15 touches and rolls his egg. F23 heads to the veranda for a break - trusting M15 with her precious cargo! M15 is so happy to have an egg to incubate once again - he quickly incubates and tucks in for the night.
F23 comes back to the nest and stands over M15 and he gets up - he knows this drill very well with Harriet. She will incubate the egg and M15 will stand right there by her side. He does fall asleep for a short time, then wakes up and wants to look at the egg again. M15 then flies up to the treetop branches to roost while F23 remains on the nest incubating her egg. Well done F23 & M15! Thank you for watching!

It's like M15 just knew she had laid their egg! To fly in at such a late hour (you should be in bed LadyHawk) LOL to check on F23 is just so heartwarming! And her excitement in showing him their new egg...It just doesnt get any better! They are so in tune to each other...its beyond inspiring! F23's instinct has kicked in and I couldnt love her more! If M15 could lay and egg too he would. He loves his role as a mate and especially a daddy. M15 is the greatest eagle dad of all time. Fledging 2 babies alone without our queen Harriet! He is so proud being a daddy again!❤❤ Love these 2 precious eagles.❤He looked away for a few seconds thinking I have to stock the pantry now!!!😂

Even their vocalizations sound so happy or something, it’s hard to explain, it doesn’t “sound” any happier but it seems to carry more of a weight, like they’re talking about something good but something important 😂. I love this Eagle Dad for good reasons! He flies in late at night to check on his lady, Incubates the egg and shows her that he knows exactly what he's doing, and then stands guard over her and the egg, comforting and reassuring her as her protective Mother mode is in full gear now. Sometimes in this crazy world truly satisfying things are few and far between, but this is very satisfying! Praying for a healthy, safe and successful season.🙏❤

Awe my heart is soooo happy to see M15 see the egg for the first time and how protective of it he already is. F23 clearly trusts M15 to look after the egg while she takes a small break, i can see this behaviour is going to be something we will all treasure. I am beyond excited. M15 endured a tragic beginning of the year with losing Harriet his love while having newly hatched babies. Not only did he successful raise them alone to fledge but was able to match up with another strong young female whom had made a great partner for him. I pray they have many more successful and happy years together they will have superior eagles flying in the future
