Does the machine use any pressure to push the contents through the funnel or does it rely solely on gravity?

Dear Sandy, Thank you for your question. It relies on gravity. Instead of using a funnel, you can also connect the filling machine to one of our tanks. Yes, you can use a fitting with hose to connect to your honey tank. No problem!

please write to shop@swienty.com for a specific quote. This machine as you see it in the video costs about 30k€ but can get cheaper or more expensive according to what packaging you want to use. We have customers who use it for oil as well but we do not support this currently in case you have problems.

why is there no lid to the funnel full of honey? Dust, airborne bits and bugs could fall in.

+thehivehoneyshop I agree with your comment. This movie was made in our fotostudio to illustrate the line and we forgot about this detail. We sell lids for the funnel as well.

yes, theoretically you can use it for this. We have a few customers doing this, however we are specialists for honey.
