Yes , even though there is criticism about the build quality of Maruti, the reliability and resale value is relatively very high compared to other brands. Their engines are refined and reliable.

you want every thing for cheap price that aint gonna happen bro. Ease of maintenance wide dealership portfolio, cheap spares this comes at a cost. I own a petrol ciaz it costs me 4500 INR in maruti service and 5500 INR in Nexa for paid service. If i buy Vokswagen the same will cost 15k for a single service and need to hunt for one or 2 delearship in the entire city like chennai. Imagine you are from tier 3 cities you cant even think about owning other brand cars as you want to drive 50 + Kms even for normal service and everyone cannot afford skoda or Vokswagen in small car segment. Maruti provides everything for the money you pay. So you cant blame the company and the new heartech platform is decently built FYI. You spend several lakhs of rupees owning a car all we want is peace of mind and Maruti guarantees that

I would like Maruti to go the Suzuki way of build quality. The Suzuki's Japanese version is more sturdy than its Indian version. Ya service cost is low but that doesn't mean the price of car is low. There's nothing called value for money in Maruti

Try the WagonR Vxi or Swift mid variant.

The third generation is built by the light weight HEARTECT platform. Maruti says that even though the HEARTECT platform cars are light weight it's safer than previous platforms.

Diesel is better for long drives for it's superior torque delivery and fuel efficiency. Petrol is best for short drives.

Brother, myself (Asir) have Cruise control in my Fiesta and I've driven some 80K kms in 4 yrs and the cruise control I would have used will be some 2Kms. Cruise control is not auch useful feature in our Indian everyday usage conditions.

Both are good cars from Maruti Suzuki. Drize is marked as a entry level sedan for small Indian family with reasonable interiors and boot space. Baleno is the premium hatchback targeted for young generation who loves premium interiors and reasonable space and that too sold through premium NEXA showrooms. The engines available in both are similar and there will be same realtime fuel efficiency for both the cars.

Suzuki always have poor build quality and plastic quality. If you strict with suzuki go for nexa based products. If you want good build quality and upmarket feelings with same suzuki price go for hyundai products. I'm not hyundai owner currently (Used all brands Mostly).you can find 2000 manufactured Santro cars even now. But 2005 Based swifts you can't find mostly. This proves the Maruti Build Quality. In Most cases Maruti Cars will create suspension problems and Streeing Problems than the other cars.

Both are similar cars with similar platform, similar engine. My pick is Baleno for it's Premium image, interior space, features and CVT in automatic.

Dzire has Cruise control in the 2020 model.

Dzire - for a practical Compact city car with great interior space, needed features, peppy petrol engine, fuel efficient, AMT option with Maruti Suzuki badging. Tigor - for great build, plush ride quality, sporty back looks and livable interiors.

It's had both Diesel and Petrol. But with the BS6 norms coming in, Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Diesel.

For better handling and latest product Altroz will be best. for easy handling and cheap maintenance and good engine Swift Dzire will be the best choice.

Yes it is. Only concern is the light build.

The 3rd generation Dzire is built on the Suzuki's latest Heartect platform. It is a lightweight platform. It is designed to meet collision safety and low NVH. But it nowhere compared to build quality of German and American cars.

In that period Indica was the most affordable Diesel hatch for Cabbies. Tata launched a Cab specific Indicab which was cheaper than the other variants. Also the Indica and Indigo were extremely efficient, but we're not that reliable with lots of issues.

Maruti will continue with the same HEARTECT platform. The 1.3L DDiS Diesel engine will be stopped and the 1.2L Petrol will continue in the BS6 form.
