Swift Kon-tiki gets a major upgrade at the NEC Motorhome & Caravan Show. In this Vlog we show you some of the best bits of the 2023 October NEC. We have a video call with Swift HQ and see a few amazing vans. We even catch up with Jason from Lowe and Rhodes where we bought our motorhome.

Thank you very much, it's just a quick trip to Scotland this time. The Changes to the van make it the perfect van for us 😊 We won’t be changing though as still love the van as it is. Safe and happy travels 😊

Loved the Morello but OMG how much! I think being full timers when we do change our van we will be going for an A Class 😊💜x

Loved the Morello too however the cost is crazy 🤪 The A-class is a great van for full time but again high in cost 😳 lovely vans though 😊

Great vlog . Interesting the changes to Kontiki during 2023. We ordered our 784 in Oct 2022 and it should have been similar to your 794. We got it mid September last month. They didn’t change the length, though I haven’t taken a tape measure out . But they implemented all the changes apart from the passenger cup holders . So, we had upgraded to the 180bhp auto . They fitted the new kitchen drawers. The doorstop. New bathroom cupboard. Change to electrics. Something for people to watch out for .. Swift have downgraded their onboard mifi . They are now fitting the cheapest 4g lte modules from zte/motorwifi the Compact+ . I spoke to motorhome WiFi stand at the NEC on Tuesday and they told me Swift haven’t contracted to take the new 5g modules .

Thank you for your comment, we was surprised to see the length had changed which makes the bedroom a whole lot better. Happy you got some of the upgraded features as our van is missing them all. I didn’t know about the Wifi downgrade but to be honest the router that came with the van was poor and we had to upgrade the router anyway for better signal. Happy travels 😊

I’ve always wondered why the designers of motorhomes don’t have people test their design/layout before they mass produce these vehicles. If they did, layout problems could easily be sorted out before they cause problems.

I don’t know to be honest, it would be my assumption that they have testers for there motorhome, not saying they do but it would make sense that they did. Happy travels 😊

Many thanks for that……….I still feel that most companies lack imagination and probably have yet to spend time driving so that they will find out what we need……the vans are nearly all the same design and very I meanVERY overpriced 😩 I have always liked the Kontiki but do not have a b licence thanks to the DVLA ….will be following your travels 🍷🍷⚓️🚍👍

So annoying how companies already upgrade things to attract new customers. Bought 2021 swift static and the 2022 model had better things. I could get extras after though

Hi, it is annoying in some ways however i can understand companies need to have some sort of upgrade to sell the next model, maybe just not so fast so we don’t feel we have missed out lol
