I got it, after a second. My first brief thought was "She's pregnant?" (I blame that on the episode of M*A*S*H where Hawkeye does surgery on Radar's bunny to find out if Margaret is pregnant. Also the old phrase "The bunny died.") But then I got it. I've actually seen this movie, but it was one that got relegated into the "Want to forget" file of my brain. I've seen worse (Troma), but I've seen way better too. Cruel Intentions, comes to mind.

Looking at the age of the cast... The oldest person (who was supposed to be a teen) was Amy, played by Shiri Appleby, who was 24 when the film released... Most of the (supposedly teenage) cast was between 20 and 22 (meaning they probably would have been 19-21 when it was filmed). So all things considered, this is probably the closest-to-high-school (age wise) actors that they could have casted, and still cast adults (because you know the restrictions involved when filming with minors). I just attribute it to this thing I see the kids talking about where millennials "looked older younger" than Gen-Zers, but are aging more gracefully than Gen-Z.

hey newbee. ive been a fan for like five years now. i hope you know how deeply loved you are as a youtuber. you are relatable, calming, and have interesting commentary that makes me giggle. i want you to know you feel like family to me, even if i dont talk much. ive gone through a few youtube accounts (losing phones, losing passwords, you know) but youre always one of the base youtubers i first sub to when i have to make a new account. i also have the wrist weak thing when i see gross stuff, which is what made me love you in the first place. never stop being you-- you are so loved!

I think I saw the trailer for this in the theater. I was like 16 and thought it looked amazing! I was so excited! What a concept! My mom leaned over and whispered, "What a Fatal Attraction ripoff." "Huh? What's Fatal Attraction?" She bought me the DVD and I never brought up Swimfan again.

I was 11 when I first saw this movie. I remember it absolutely blowing my mind. Don’t think I had ever seen anything close to a psychological thriller before that.

It was certain things as a teenager my parents would have never allowed, like my girlfriend sleeping in my bed in their house. These teenagers in this film had way too much freedom.

Yeah because my mom use do that same job when she in her late 20s you had to have certifications to do that and you had to be a certain age I believe 21 also you can't have any criminal history of substance abuse like he did.

This movie and logic don't work. She's not Salt, I don't know how she defeated 2 cops and got out of the car, they only open from the outside. It felt like the actors and situations would work better for college aged characters ... I think the high school villain was a bit over the top but still somewhat entertaining... Somewhat.
