I’ve got a 116 d 2017 I have done the swirl flap deleted no progress over code still coming back. Any recommendations on clearing the codes

What have been done to do the swirl flap delete . Software removal or mechanical ? Was this done to try and resolve a problem . I would always advise to fix a fault properly before making any modifications

BMW specialist told me the flap delete doesn't work on my model 2015 116d.

@@cardiagnosis8199 I got quoted about £1850 including service/labour for replacement of EGR valve and the full replacement of manifold as swirl flaps are faulty for my 420D. Did I get scammed?
