Press and hold the MODE key whilst powering upThe Bus+ to enter Expander Mode on the D-EQ. When it’s on, press and hold the HF button for 2 secs until it turns green. Viola! Transient shaper active and you don’t have to win the game. Enjoy the Unit! 🙏

@@MannyXO This was just a loaner unit for testing and making the video. I definitely like the unit but don’t feel like I need it in my current setup. Yup, I expected the game to take quite a bit of time which is why I didn’t bother 😅 Nice to access the feature also without playing/winning the game, though. Wish I had known that before but maybe someone else finds this comment and you just saved them ~2h! 😁

You can turn on the transient expander without playing the game. Last page of the user guide.

Nice review. The Bus+ seems like an interesting box...particularly the dynamic EQ section. Overall it feels like they just tried to include too many features---to the point where it might impede workflow. Recall seems like it would be a nightmare for mastering (you would think they would have included plugin control since its digitally controlled). I'm sticking with my IGS Tubecore and Hendyamps Pollock. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah it’s really stuffed with features, since this was just a loaner unit, I didn’t get to the point where I could use it blindly. Maybe once you get fully used to it, it’s not that bad but I was surely overwhelmed 😅 I too am happy with my IGS Tubecore, just works and easy recall 🙌 Thanks for watching!

Yup, it was a tough one and I had limited time with the unit. It indeed has an overwhelming amount of functions and features.
