Hey CreRay, bedankt! Dit is inderdaad de afdaling naar Trafoi, voor mij de mooiste zijde van de Stelvio. Persoonlijk vind ik de zuidkant van/naar Bormio veel gevaarlijker met al die tunneltjes. Sommige zijn erg smal met scherpe bochten in de tunnel. Ik rijd daar altijd heel voorzichtig en gebruik constant mijn claxon, maar ik heb meer dan eens bijna een tegenligger geraakt! Als je de oostkant op je gemakkie doet, dan gaat dat best goedkomen met jou. Beetje vroeg op pad gaan. Groet, Superhertog

Sennheim, Altstrimmig, Mittelstrimmig, de afdaling naar Boppard.............mooi!! Vorige week weer op de Stelvio geweest, het blijft oppassen geblazen maar toch altijd weer schitterend. That KTM sure is a lovely rde! Sorry if I apear to be nitpicking, but I can't help suggesting it is always a good idea to fold out the kickstand before lifting the bike when it's been dropped on the right side. Also on such a steep road making sure the bike is in gear before lifting it can save you from dropping it a second time. Van een NLer die in Zwitserland woont ;-)

he man. mooi filmpje en motor! welke motor heb je? zelf hoop ik dit ook ooit te doen. lekker rijden door mooie bergen/landschap. maar ben nog beetje jong daarvoor. over 3 jaartjes mijn motor rijbewijs halen en dan zeker zo'n toch maken. heb je nog een beetje advies voor me over welke motor goed is voor zulke grote "roadtrips"? mvg D

Although that was not caused by an on comming vehicle,that is what happens when they dont give us bikes the space to make a sweep at these bends!Nice to see you stopped and helped doubt a car driver would!(Unless he too were a biker!)

Yes, its tough lifting a bike when the wheels are higher that the rest of the motorcycle, especially when it is a GS Adventure with a full tank of gas. In 2003 I saw a Dutch motorcyclist stop just short of the rock wall on the Timmelsjoch...he mis-judged the hairpin completely.

Beautiful mountains.

It's a supermoto. They only go like this, quite safe and the quickest thing up a mountain road, I'd ride my supermoto this way too. However, when I took my VFR800 there in 2008 it was the scariest ride I've ever done. I had race tyres, they went cold whilst I had coffee at the top. Then it hailed; in September! The first 6 or so hairpins are extreme. Slippery as hell when wet and really steep. And I have a lot of mountain experience, and London town driving experience for 20 years.

Gonna guess you know this road like real well, great riding but way faster than I would do it, first I like to view the scenery and second I like even more getting to the bottom in one piece. Nice to see a fellow biker stop and help someone. And those who say you shouldnt fallup hill, it take only a slight miscalculation on how much throttle and WE ALL dump it.

Toll das du geholfen hast. Viele Biker haben leider keine Ahnung wie man eine Haarnadelkurve fährt. Die meisten holen enorm aus und kommen trotzdem auf die Gegenseite. Falsche Haltung auf dem Motorrad.
