I'm really sorry for everyone who expected better from me. I have no excuses. I ruined my rounds by changing my volumes a few hours before the battle, as my soundcheck left me unconfident. It completely messed up both of my rounds. Stupid mistake. Congrats to my bro AVH ❤. You are a beautiful person and also really deserve this win 😊. I know its not for everyone, but as someone who listened a lot to Armin van Buren's State Of Trance back in the early 2010's and late 2000's I absolutely love AVH's style. That dutch trance / progressive style is executed so insanely well by him its phenomenal. You could just make a DJ mix out of his tracks and it would perform well.

Pure vides all around. Given Brez's health issues, I'm so impressed that he came in and still performed so well. Poor dude had to go against AVH - how can you beat rounds that are so clean and perfectly executed? All four rounds were absolute bangers though - cleanest EDM ever produced on a loopstation. Can't wait for the semifinals - the quarterfinals have been incredible!

Maan, this battle was amazing, I really love it. The surprise of this year being AVH w the cleanest rounds I ever heard. So sad for BreZ, I really wanted him to go further, sadly a lot happened, but at the same time it was beautiful to see AVH performance, I wanted to cry listening to Dream, it brought me some kind of feelings and nostalgia. Thank you to both of them, they're amazing loopers and love the way the perform:D

Honestly, I still can't believe BreZ lost. I wanted to see him run wild even in the top rounds... I regret it as if it were my own. That said, AVH's performance was also great, and I especially liked "Dream" and still listen to it often! Thank you for the really wonderful battle!

This entire battle felt like a festival rave with friendly banter than a full battle, and I'm all in for it. I'd also LOVE to see AVH have a full EDM/House Showcase to himself, that would bring up the vibes on any stage. Also wish Brez the best for his health and I hope he performs at every event because I think he deserves so much that he hasn't gotten yet.

Really great to see all the new talented Loopers this year! Exciting to see more styles come out of the woodwork! AVH is like a talented producer. Not really a battler or much a beatboxer potentially, but knows how to put together really quality good sounding music which a very rare skill that i think will impress other judges. Brez needed a better first round imo to make this closer. He might have had the round in him and was saving it for later. His second round was fire tho. I kinda wish Brez could have brought even more battle bars to his lyrics and brought that energy.

Really dope battle. Feels bad to see Brez place quarter finals so much but he has battled against NME, Rythmind and now AVH who are all absolutely insane. Congrats to both!

Brez is always my favorite and why do I feel like each battle he is in is when his opponent brings their best rounds. It’s always so sad to see Brez go out so early when he is always so strong. Both were amazing and made an amazing battle as always!
