I don't understand why people say that the non hill approach is the "wrong way." Landings on runway 27 are done. For example, on the main pic for the wiki article of the Twin Otter, that airplane is landing on runway 27.

Concorde is hard on short runways because it needs like 100 knots to not stall but if you got over 100 knots you need a long runway

Tip: If you land ur plane.from the beach side of runway it will land better and u can touchdown as you espect.
