I did! And I’m also using Miiverse too. And KZfaq and WiiU chat! And online play with “Pretendo network” Nintendo network is dead, but Pretendo network is Alive with Online, Miiverse all the good stuff!

@@jfigg339 It had some good things going for it for sure. When I say I'm getting the short end of the stick, I'm just referring to when Nintendo uses a port from Wii U to fill out their release schedule in place of a new game. It's great and new to people who didn't own a Wii U, but it doesn't excite most people who have already played those games like I have.

@@Forzamon42069 I thought it was horrid originally too. Imagine being a Sonic fan, owning a Wii U, and having lost world as one of your only titles... This game annoyed the HELL out of me! But I replayed it last year and had.. fun. Sometimes I think it's the circumstances behind a game and the way it works then the game itself. Sonic Lost World is mediocre at best.

Really bad advertising (making it look like the gamepad was a Wii accessory rather than part of a new console), and they never even changed the advertisements to show more later down the line

Wii U honestly went hard, the only problem is that the gamepad wasn’t the console, but if it was it would just be the switch. There were some fire Wii U games and the console itself was super fun

The Wii U is so underrated… virtual console… original games… pickman 3… one of the best pro-controllers… easy access to the game pad battery… HAS A FREAKING BUILT IN WII…. AND quality vs switch quality is so much better. The controllers are tougher and took a LONG time to get drift or if you didn’t eat using the controllers, no drift.

A fun easter egg would’ve been if you placed the Wii U games in order of release on the Switch. So Captain Toad (2018), NSMBU (2018, a few months after Toad) and SM3DW (2021). But the games are actually sorted in order of release on Wii U, so NSMBU (2012), SM3DW (2013) and Captain Toad (2014). I don’t know if made coincidentally or intentionally, but it sure looks great
