My sister and I are 79 and two years ago we bought a 25 foot trailer and are loving it. We each have our jobs to do when we get ready to go and when we are camping. Have fun helping your dad.

Kind of like how I started out. Retired, cut the grass a few times then wondered what I'd do next. A neighbor rumbled past pulling his RV. That seemed like an interesting lark. To try it out, I bought a 10-yr-old, 26' pull-trailer off craigslist and never looked back. The more I did it, the more I loved it. Sold the house, bought me a dually and a 42' fifth wheel. "Homeless" and loving it!!

Really enjoyed the video with your Dad especially since I am 75 and have been camping since 1985 and on our 3 TT. I have the exact same hitch and it is great for towing. FYI I had my trailer hitch in and the gate was down when my son who was in the bed and then stood on the tailgate the top of the ball dented the outside of it! I remedied it by adjusting the ball height down one notch!

Your Dad is one quack of a smart man. He remembers the washer rise, I would need to look it up. I love Cougars. That is a west side built Cougar. Todd you know that will ride a lot nicer your Dad has a real truck, lol. He is lucky to have you there to help him and gently push him out visiting the country.

So excited for your pops! Looks like a natural RVer! We are newbies, bought ours in November and the shake down trip went well now the big one 913 miles to Texas to see my 84 year old dad who is super excited! Him and my mom lived full time in a fifth wheel before it was a thing in the early 90s and they enjoyed the adventures and community! His health isn’t great and mom passed 5 years ago but he lights up with so much excitement and joyful memories telling us the stories❤️ I’m nervous for the drive but seeing his face will be an awesome memory for us 🙏🏻😍

Todd, after the bench incident, we were on the edges of our seats when you were on the roof! On another note, that looks like a heck of a camper your old man bought. Nice layout! We had our go around with one of those hitches a few days ago, felt like 10 years of education just to set it up properly.

Congratulations to your Dad! It will be nice to have him along with you two. Watched last night shortly after you uploaded this on our Firestick so I could not like or comment then. Can't wait to see the upgrade or changes to your rv if that is what you are doing. We are still waiting for our coach that only needs their captain chairs and sofa yet. Nice rig. Good for him. Hope silicone is just a metaphor. Do not use it on roof. Use a self levelling dicor or alpha product depending on roof material
