The Wii was my first Nintendo console, although for some reason I got it right before the Wii U released..., instead of just that 😭(It wasn't backwards compatible either, since I got the Family Edition)

all of these were super obvious. how is this supposed to be facts YOU Didn't Know but then you say stuff like "did you know the wii was called the revolution in development?!" like yes i think pretty much everyone did

Another fun fact about the Wii: you can fit every single Wii game ever released in the US market on just over 500 gigabytes of hard drive space 😂

Actually, the Wii disc drive (well, the GameCube compatible ones, anyway) can actually read and play DVD videos, but Nintendo didn't feel like paying DVD FLLC royalties for the logo on the box of every Wii.

Fact 40 is the Joycon lights. In reality, player 5 has the first two lights, player 6 with the first three and player 7 with all four. There was no eighth wiimote support

I had a third party sensor bar, I can’t describe the amount of times I flicked a lighter to boot up nsmbw because we didn’t have batteries. We celebrated new batteries so we could plausibly play Mario Party 8.

The "Everybody Votes Channel" could of easily inspired a huge part of Splatoon, being Splatfests. Dogs vs. Cats was an actual theme, being the first in North America and 6th in Europe.

I still have my launch edition Wii with the stand. I never noticed the Logo was changed in later models to be horizontal! I love the GameCube emulation & controller ports. It's kind of weird that the adult games are on the GameCube mostly.
