In this video I'm going to show you the CHRISTMAS MARKETS OF SWITZERLAND, a magical journey through the cities of Bern and Zurich, where you can discover the best Christmas markets in Europe. I'm going to show you the places, traditions and typical foods of this time of year, and I'm going to surprise you with some curiosities you wouldn't expect.
We start with BERN AT CHRISTMAS, the capital of Switzerland, where we visit the orphanage Christmas market, the cathedral Christmas market and the Oscar Elch market. We have the most special mulled wine. We also tour the historic city centre, where we see the Zytglogge clock tower, Einstein's house, the fairy tale tram and the rose garden.
Then we go to ZURICH AT CHRISTMAS, the most populous and international city in Switzerland, where we discover the opera Christmas market, the museum Christmas market and Mrs Gerolds's garden. We also pass by the Christmas pyramid and the elf restaurant.
