Well here we are. After 150km of hiking (and the odd train) we are finally here in the Swiss town of Zermatt.
Home to the Matterhorn this gorgeous alpine village is home to lots of activities, hiking, and of course the glacier express, ALL of which feature in the travel vlog.

Paddy, I am 67 years old and my wife and I spend sometimes 30 minutes each night on KZfaq for the last 10 years or so. I have never "liked or subscribed" to anything or anyone and have never posted a comment - ever. Although we could never afford to go anywhere like Switzerland your videos have been the best thing we've ever watched and I might add that we have tried many, many other "walking tour videos". With our home theater this seems to be how we travel without the expense. Your amount of "on camera talking and explaining is perfect. You are easy to understand and your accent is quaint. Camera work is excellent with movement and pauses at what always seems to be the perfect time. It seems you always put the camera down and walk past or towards it also at near perfect times. None of it is too much or not enough. Choices of background music is beautiful and well mixed - we love it!. Others could learn from you and if you chose to stop now your video's would be greatly missed. Here's my subscription and like. I don't know how much of this mixing and cutting you actually do yourself but I say this with great respect - GOOD WORK KID, KEEP IT UP!

Hey, fantastic videos! What you called Monte Rosa is actually the Breithorn (4164m). The real Monte Rosa is about 10km far as the crow flies. By foot it is definitely not a couple of hours of walk. :)

What a beautiful video. I didn’t realize access was that available over by the Matterhorn. This series will change some lives. I think you created a bunch more hikers. So glad you were able to go on that hike on the last day. Hats off for doing that large hike after your excursion in the morning! Loved how you ended with the Pandemonium song. For all this time I was waiting for some Swiss Yodel music, so that some made up for some (not all) of my disappointment. You represented the Swiss Alps well, Paddy! I've been on that cablecar a few times and I absolutely HATE cablecars too. One section towards the end when it goes almost vertical, had me closing my eyes and praying for my life !! Ha ha. Anyway, Zermatt is very cool. Been about 7 or 8 times in winter snowboarding, but not for many years. It's a bit too inaccessible to reach, and certainly not convenient. Enjoyed that. Thanks Paddy.

Paddy, just breathtaking Matterhorn beauty at the top, wow oh wow was that amazing! Not sure you noticed at 8:38 in video, even the clouds over the mountain formed a cross for you viewing the frozen crucifix, maybe a sign of angels watching over you, my friend. What an end to your next level adventure in Switzerland. In the Northeast USA, (esp. Vermont) we enjoy an alcoholic spiced hot cider (apple w/a cinnamon stick) to warm up (or when skiing) Truly enjoyed this Swiss series, but I am already looking forward to your next (Italy - go Pompeii if possible, was amazing and historic to see, for me, I'm Italian and family from Naples). Wow, when those cable car cables went straight up into the clouds out from that steep mountain face!! You're so glad it was sunny up there! I'm very jealous. I'm a lifelong mountain man from Alaska & I have a dream to do a heart of the Alps trip in winter with my long range FPV drone capturing the most epic mountains up close & I would even love to write a book about the origins/history of the ski resorts I'd stop at. (Perfect song btw!) Cheers.
