Switzerland's oldest weighted divers - Gübsensee circular hike

4 ай бұрынThe short circular hike starts in St. Gallen Hinterberg and goes over the SBB Sitter Viaduct to Gübsensee. From the bridge, you can see the SOB Sitter Viaduct, which is the highest railroad bridge in Switzerland. The lake has been supplying electricity to the city of St. Gallen since 1900.

Wonderful video! I did not realise you that could walk (or cycle) over the SBB viaduct over the Sitter vslley! I assume you caught a number 7 'In-motion-charging battery-electric-trolleybus' to and from St Gallen city centre.

Thanks. You could walk already since a long time over the SBB viaduct. Recently they made the path wider. It was the bus 8 which has a similar root than the 7 but goes to Hinterberg. Best, Benjamin

Hi Benjamin. Tolle Wanderung. Wir haben vor Jahren mal den Brückenweg dort gemacht. Dabei gings unter den Brücken durch. Genaue Wegführung weiss ich gar nicht mehr, war aber eindrücklich. LG Dani
