He's using a dueling address I think which is lighter, also cuz he's good and athletic

Opponent had a heavier arming sword and he had a dueling saber with nice hand protection. He can go with a more of a single sidesword style with buckler aiding in swiping parries while opponent is really limited to 7th custodiat to protect his hands and mainline cuts. In an interesting sense they are mimicking the transition away from arming swords and messers with minimal guards to lighter cut and thrust side swords and how they started going more thst direction to the point (pun not intended but welcomed) they blew by cut and thrust and you went to massive 45 inch rapiers really dedicated to thrusts with limited cutting ((insert George Silver comments on rapiers). I'm prepping for a competition where they controlled this by restricting the size and shape of buckler (there goes my targa) and length and how much hand protection for sword (bye bye my bolognese style side sword). So had to invest in a strict 1.33 set (no talhoeffers either).
