In London, the elected Mayor - Sadiq Khan, is the equivalent of the Police and Crime Commissioner and is responsible for the totality of policing in the capital (outside of the City of London). But to be fair to Khan, I think knife crime is up in other large cities, so could be the Tories fault..

My thoughts are condolences are going towards the family and friends of fourteen year old boy, mostly for the the family at this difficult time they are going through. I also hope the friends at the school of this boy gets professional help with losing someone they care about. Once again my condolences goes to all are hurt by losing a son, brother and friend at this sad time. This and every act like this is not an act of terrorism? So what is it then? I think we need to change the definition of terrorism in the dictionary because it doesn't belong to these kinds of attacks anymore, apparently. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have been affected by this attack.
