"When I am through, one will rise from the ashes." That "one" sounds awfully lot like Darth Bane in the aftermath of the Battle of Ruusan, if he's referring to a person.

@@nox1867Malgus does say his plan doesn't require himself to survive in order to succeed. We suspect that Darth Nil's holocron holds the secret to 'unlocking' full force sensitivity in people like Ri'kan, Guss Tuno or Reina Temple. If this technique became commonplace, it could be how both sides continue to fight for milennia up to the brotherhood of darkness. Malgus' whole "I've done what most Sith never do, I've broken my chains" monologue is extremely similar to Bane's thoughts on Kaan's brotherhood of darkness and his own role in it.

@@rm0986 That just wouldn't work. It would be a massive retcon that doesn't fit into the universe. Giving people the force isn't really compatible with the mechanics of how the force works, not without actively holding an artefact like Nihilus' mask.

An army will rise from the ashes? Is he saying that literally or figuratively speaking?
@DarthSorrowGaming11 ай бұрын
He is speaking literally. Now the thing is that when you tell him that he needs an army, he responds that "One will rise from the ashes". That "One" he says can be translated in 2 ways. As "One" he can mean a person who is incapable to act at the moment for various reasons, which could be literally anyone powerful enough to pull this off. Propably someone we met in the past and already know. He could be even talking about himself, since he is positioning as a frontman to everything that's going to happen. The other meaning of "One" is that he is responding to the "army" you are mentiong him to. Now, what army could that be? A hidden one? Or something similar to the Revanites? Keep in mind that Revanites wanted to destroy Empire and Republic and now that our character is the Alliance Commander, many from the Empire and Republic want to destroy the Alliance and reshape the galaxy like they wanted in the old days, pre-KotFE and KotET. I think that in both cases, Malgus continues to have the plan he had back on Illum. Form something entirely new which will affect both Republic and Empire. The only difference is, that this time he plans to act on a galactic scale. We can't be sure of what his ace in the hole is. PS: Let's hope the Emperor won't be revived for the 4th time.

@@DarthSorrowGaming Jadus would be a contender right he "died" and came back? Dathomir rising from the ashes? Rakata? Or something that relates to Nulls force ability making people the children of Emporer like a order 66 random siths and jedi become corrupted and becomes an army?
@DarthSorrowGaming8 ай бұрын
@@davidfreddie1 Jadus is also a possible character to rise from the ashes, as Malgus claims. In Imperial Agent story, no matter the choices you make, he ends up leaving the known galaxy to avoid the total chaos Vitiate wanted to cause. He also knew that the Emperor back then was distracted wanting to use that to his own advantage. He is even suspected to be the one who was behind the attack of betrayal on Iokath by Lana. He pretty much knew everything the Emperor did. There's a high chance, he also stole and gave the Chiss agents a holomap from the Emperor which contained all of his greatest secrets and which also, possibly, explains how on the "Fractured Alliances" storyline they were able to find Zildrog by reconstructing the map on Copero. Also, his power was second to the Emperor's. So, yes. Combining all of the above, he might be a Top 3 contestant to set the galaxy in flames.

We have to start with: How is Malgus alive in the first place? My only guess is that Acina stole the Dread Engine while we are frozen in carbonite and the galaxy is at war with Zakuul, she reanimates his corpse using technology but to sustain that much force energy the machine is built into his torso! The dread engine at its most dangerous is capable of paralyzing the minds and bodies of an entire planet of inhabitants, controlling them using their terror and mutating them into ravenous creatures. Next, we have to ask: is this newest line of discovered force thralls in "Chains in the Darkness" ACTUALLY new? We have seen the children of the Emperor, who seem to have been wiped out in a shadow conflict with the Scion Remnants. So this leaves us with Terrak Morrhage and the strain of force plague affecting Jedi in Ch 3 of the Barsenthor story, along with many other force sensitive bloodlines that are only known due to the Holocron Sa'har retrieved after Malgus murdered her Master. While Morrhage is still a threat, he is a force ghost and can be contained via many methods.

Finally we have to ask ourselves, what is the Identity of Darth Nul? And what role would she play in all of this? Well just retracing Malgus steps we seem to be following the stomping grounds of Kreia from KotoR 2! While unconfirmed, Darth Baras was holding her in a containment field on Corellia, BUT if she were released this could have allowed her to Reanimate her body the same way Revan did in the Shadow of Revan Expansion, (and this is where I tip my tinfoil fedora but bear with me!) So not only would she appear alive, but may have had a "light side / helpful" doppelganger as Revan had his Light side ghost waiting to move on.
@Dewy_Salvo5 ай бұрын
PART 3, Sorry for the segments lol! With this information, I believe Lana Beniko is this reincarnation of Kreia and has a Dark side variant that takes the identity of Darth Nul. This Doppelganger has also been able to control Malgus and Shae Viszla like children of the emperor since BEFORE the great hyperspace war and all the conflicts we see in the original trailers. We will have to defeat Nul so she doesn't eat the whole galaxy's life force but when we beat her the real threat will surface. Darth Jadus will make his move to harvest all of the previously mentioned assets while capturing Nul in a holocron, combining them to thrall an entire planet & merge all of it's inhabitant's life energy into his physical form in a similar manner to the device on Yavin and causing a cataclysm similar to Ziost on a galactic scale. Malgus may be trying to do a version of this that only sacrifices all of the thralls and hidden chain forces as he sees them as expendable fodder while taking out the corrupted / weak parts of the Empire he has been trying to burn out since Illum. And remember the Voss premonition, if Malgus dies the catastrophe transpires more quickly. . . either way it is happening but keep in mind this means you may have to kill Malgus at the cost of sacrificing multiple companions and allies (worst case). Personally I sided with Jadus back in the early story, Ive had a lawful neutral karma character thats been rebuilding the galaxy as Acinas Hand since we beat Valkorion, we decimate the Republic in battle but when I run into their useless agents I spare them to build a spy network similar to Jadus' Eagle network but with more members and allies more dangerous / prominent then the star cabal network. Didn't have to sacrifice any of the follower companions so honestly it has been a very fun experience! Theres even a whole side arc if you join him!! Either way interested to see how things end up!
