Very honest and elaborate review. Beside those little shortcuts (yes a stand should've come with the figure as well), it looks good as well. If the price was a little lower, I would've considered it as a Christmas gift last year. I'll probably get it for my birthday this year though.

Thank you so much for the kind feedback!! This one is certainly worthy as a treat for yourself 😃 I just did a search on eBay to find that the prices are a little high but aren't too ridiculous (considering this figure is almost a year old now). I hope it stays that way~~

Lara Croft!! Great review, but wish they could've marbleized and dimmed down the jade necklace pendant to look realistic.

I have this figure as well as the 2.0 version and I am glad to own both versions. The 3.0 body can also be used with other cloths and head sculpts. I just doing some custom projects using extra bodies of this 3.0 version.

Nice!! The 2.0 is definitely still pretty solid. I'm so glad that both are leaps and bounds better than the 1.0. SWToys seem to be getting better with each new release too, so hopefully they'll eventually do a 4.0. Good luck with the custom projects!

Thanks for a nice review, I'm waiting for my Lara to arrive and thought I'd check some actual pics and videos of the figure. To be honest I'm pretty happy with how the headsculpt turned out compared to the promo pics, I also pre-ordered it. But I'm a die-hard fan of TR so I knew I'd order it anyway :) nice to see it doesn't actually suck all that much. Also not sure why bigger companies keep ignoring the franchise since 1/6 sideshow legend figure.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I didn’t make a point of it but it took a little futzing to get Lara’s top to cover down to the pants, but once it’s done, it isn’t really an issue. Plus, now is also the best time to buy this because prices usually skyrockets after awhile. Enjoy the figure ! 😊

@@ElbearToys hi! Received mine today and damn is it a horrible body 😄 mine also has one longer leg and can’t stand straight, will have to find a different one to replace it with. Any suggestions?😊

I'm so sorry! 😢 Looks like I got lucky that the body on mine was OK. I was looking for a replacement myself. I tried a TBLeague body but the boots and head won't fit. I'm currently looking at this brand called Jiaou Doll but it's equally risky with joint compatibility, plus I'm having a tough time picking the right body proportions and skin tone...so I'm pretty much out of ideas 😞

I think it’ll be hard to pick a nicer body, I think I might try one that’s not seamless cause the head is too small for phicen and jiaou dolls I have a feeling anyway. Will let you know how it goes if you want 😊

@@ElbearToys yeah. Lara Croft was pleasant woman. Kind and did not get infuriated easily. I watch most of the cutscenes in the game. She was exquisite. Marvellous lara. In my dream i always wish A real lara croft in my house. I really enjoying Lara Croft. She was good looking too. ♥️♥️♥️

fantastic review! mine was on pre order for nearly a year! i finally have it now and i’m also happy with it. i agree with u there isn’t many figures of lara out there so that’s a shame. i do have a question, is it going to damage the figure if i bend her arms?

Thanks for the feedback! The arms shouldn't have any problems as long as the bend isn't too extreme over a short period of time. But leaving them bent over a long time will wear out or even rip the rubber apart. And sadly, this is a fate shared by all seamless action figure bodies regardless of brand. Having the arms neutral and straight like they were out of the box is the best way to prolong the shelf-life. Hope that helps!

I have this figure on the way. I've ordered a different body for her, one that's more in proportion and bulky with toned arms. Also purchased a light blue vest to go under her top.

Best of luck!! May I ask which body you are going for? I wanted to try with a TBLeague S27B but I have a feeling the wrist and ankle pegs aren't compatible.

@@ElbearToys I got the Hot Toys 'Abigail Whistler' body from the Blade series. I've seen photos of other collectors using this for it and it matches perfectly! Skin tone is almost identical and the whole figure looks miles better with it.

Yes!! So I'm not the only one who thinks so!! I always thought the Alicia Vikander movie and the video game reboot series actually compliment each other, which was not possible before because neither the movies nor the games were consistent back then. In any case, thank you so much for watching!!

Sadly I've had no luck fitting this one on a Hot Toys body. Then again, Hot Toys hadn't release standalone female figure bodies for a long time, so this MIGHT work better with other popular brands like TBLeague, Jiaou Doll, or PopToys (emphasis on "might" because I haven't tried to fit this on other bodies other than Hot Toys). It's not a lot, but hope that helped~

I really just want the head for a Rise custom but they dont sell it seperately 😪. The bodyproportions are very off, Lara is only 1,65m in the game. She is too long and the prototype body on the coverart is actually a lot shorter. The tesult is that her belly button just sticks out under her top, it doesnt even fit her properly. The top isn’t accurate to the game, its much lighter in colour and is made of textile not leather. The only thing I really like is the head as it is the best Lara head thusfar and the bow looks awesome…

Oh I agree. It took me some futzing to get her top to cover down to her pants, but once it did, it stopped popping up so I didn’t think it was a big deal. I’m thinking about using a TBLeague body as replacement, but I think the joints will need to be modded too. Anyway, good luck with your search for the head sculpt!!

Yes, but the top is skin tight so it might take some time to remove. I'd recommend popping off the hands and head, raise the arms, then slide it out slowly.

Sadly, almost all of these unlicensed 1/6 figures are based in Asia, both the company and factory. So if you can’t find a trusted retailer that carry this piece, Amazon or eBay might be your best bet. Most likely the item will be coming from China, but I’d argue the risk and shipping time is about the same from either. Just stay away from AliExpress lol. I bought from there twice. Never got it both times and had to fight to get a refund. Good luck 😃

@@ElbearToys ok, I was looking on ebay and found some that shipped from the US, just not entirely sure if I want to spend up to $300 CAD for this, I do like it over the smaller official figure that doesn't move or anything but it's also a lot cheaper. I'll be watching them and get it when I feel it's the right time and I do decide to get it. I'd like this one so I could make my own base for her and pose her on it

🤔🤔🤔 This one is good, but I honestly don’t think it’s $300 CAD good. Unfortunately, even unlicensed 1/6 figures tend to go up in prices as time goes on, so hopefully this is where the price caps out. But it’s a tough call either way. Ultimately though, if you really like it, I’d say just get it now and never check the prices again. The price goes up and down, but your enjoyment is what matters 😉

Yikes...I'm sorry to hear. I left mine in open display with a boring neutral museum pose so it's still OK for now, though I don't expect it to stay that way. These will eventually breakdown. My Hot Toys Pepper Potts are busted above the wrist. Sigh.

These figures are amazing initially but very quickly the rubber deteriorates and crumbles/splits. Especially at the joints . I've wasted so much money on these only for them to look awful after a very short period. Daylight robbery

Thank you so much for watching~ The figure was definitely a mixed bag. I just received a "Rise" version of Lara by Master Team which looks a bit more promising. Hopefully I will get around to review that one as time allows 😔
