Sisters With Voices, better known as SWV, is an American female R&B vocal trio from New York City, New York. Formed in 1986 as a gospel group,[1] SWV became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s. They had a series of hits, including "Weak", "Right Here/Human Nature", "I'm So into You", and "You're the One". The group disbanded in 1998 to pursue solo projects, and reunited in 2005. As of 2015, they have sold more than 25 million records, making them one of the best selling girl groups of all time.

Let me see Coko tear it up real quick... Watching and hearing her sing is such a treat. So unique. Clear and sharp tone w/ a killer technique. She had it goin' on.

I know this is old, but I love the first sentence lol. That's how I think too when I watch a performance of Whitney, SWV, Deborah Cox, and ppl like that. SWV needs more due! They deserve it. Them and Xscape deserve so much more love.

Okay, I was born in 1994 but I’m definitely an SWV fanatic lol. I’ve seen just about every live video they had from back in the day so when I run into ones I’ve never seen I’m always shook! This is one of those times lol

I love this performance ! Good sound system. No recorded tracks. You can really hear Taj and Lelee's background vocals. Taj had the best body !

Yes Coko is amazing with this unusually super high pure tone. Her vowel sounds like the birds tweeting outside my window. She is that good! But the harmonies are earthy and balancing her tone. It works so well. You have to have Taj and Lelee to make it all blend so beautifully.

Coko was blowing and lelee carried that harmony so good i always felt lelee should had sung more because she absolutely can sing she would had been like kelly to Beyoncé 2nd up but she lack the confidence 😩

tairad1 Seem to me like Lelee had a lot of confidence in the early days. I hate to think that everybody hating on her and Taj so hard had a negative affect on her but it probably did. I still defend them in conversation today.

I remember this performance! BET had THE best music shows in the 80s and 90s...Video Soul, Video LP, Video Vibrations, Rap City, Midnight Love, etc. I always loved when the musical guests performed! This is definitely a classic. This and Chante Moore's Video LP performance are two of my favorites. I wish BET would re-air their old shows.
