You probably heard it in karaoke, a wedding, every singing contest ever, etc. Fun Fact: This song was written by their producer (Brian Alexander Morgan) about his crush on...singer Chante Moore.

They all have very distinctive and unique voices. Yes, Coko is the lead singer, but Lelee and Taj sing as wells did all can hold their own. Their Harmony is sick!

Coko (lead), Lelee, and Taj! S Double-u V! When I went back and listened to older songs/albums, they were one of the first groups that I did. They're name originally was going to be TLC but T-Boz, Chili, and Left Eye got it first. Coko was a defining voice back in the 90's. Unfortunately her solo career didn't take off after they split. HAHA perfect start for SWV. Their names are Taj, Leelee & Coko, funny fact, before their name was "SWV"........ca you guess what it was?....TLC!!! But when they got their deal they had to change the name because another group had the name (Before Chili was in TLC a girl named Crystal was in the group so they were legitimately Tionne, Lisa, Crystal, but when Crystal was asked to leave and they hired a girl named Rozanda, but they were already TLC so they decided to assign nicknames, and Rozanda is "Chili"). Coko sings all the leads for SWV, she's the Beyonce/Diana of the group, then Taj (the tallest) has some great moments too as 2nd lead, Leelee (the shortest) has the least leads but she has a great voice too, and she's the "Left Eye" of the group in that she's the 1 with the wild personality. My top recommendations for you. 1. Downtown- (Think Anytime Anyplace lol, it's very sexual and sensual, it's dirty but it doesn't feel dirty just like Anytime Anyplace) 2. Right Here Remix- I already see & Know that's probably the next SWV video and the highest requested after Weak, and for good reason, they sample MJ's Human Nature, and might be the first act to ever sample MJ. It also has a vocal cameo from Pharrell at like 16yrs old. 3. Use Your Heart- This is my favorite song of theirs, Period, it gets no better than this, it's sexy it's smooth, it's light, it's deep, and it's another MJ sample, this time it's The Lady In My Life and Pharrell produced this one. 4. Anything - ORIGINAL 1st, there's a remix to this, that everyone's gonna request, and it's my #5 request too, but this is DIFFERENT, the original & the remix are 2 completely different energies and I think you'll love both 5. The thing about the R&B we got in the 90s was all the women could SANG! They were coming off the late 80s, the 70s soul singers, 60s motown singers and so that was the standard they aspired to vocally. To sing like Aretha, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan. etc. So we got lots of high quality female vocalists and vocalists in general. The men also came from that tradition of soul singers, like Teddy, Luther, Smokey etc. Well had to bring it.
