A respected voice in the crypto community, Ripple’s David Schwartz, aka “JoelKatz,” is an original architect of the XRP network-and invented one of the earliest distributed computer systems in 1991, nearly two decades before the bitcoin white paper was published by Satoshi Nakamoto.
In this candid interview with Sara Silverstein, Editor-at-large and Executive Producer at Business Insider, David addresses cryptography, distributed ledger technology, and how blockchain is changing the foundation of our global economic system.

I'd like to work with Ripple and develop a method for home ownership that revolutionizes how homes are mortgaged or owned in 5 - 7 years with equity being liquid for other uses. We do it now with traditional methods but the BANKS and the System is antiquated, onerous and full of fraud.
