If you complete all the strike force missions, save Karma, wound Briggs, spare Menendez, Karma wound stop celerium, and Menendez wound remain in prison and Woods would still be alive

Killing Raul Menendez and saving mason ending kinda gives off mixed feelings considering this ending is a mix of good and bad and ima explain why 1.Shooting mason anywhere other than the head would result in him coming back if you listened to Hudson about shooting mason in the head will actually end up killing him and he won’t make his appearance in the end 2. Shooting Raul Menendez Or saving him are still bad endings just shooting him is worse Why? Because a video will release incase he dies causing people to riot all over the world Saving him will result in him escaping then meeting woods only to kill him afterwards Raul Menendez goes to his sister’s grave then sets himself on fire and killing him self (which is almost the same way his sister died to fire except she didn’t kill herself she just burned)

If the player spares Menendez's life, completes all four Strike Force Missions, and both Chloe Lynch and Alex Mason survive the events of the game, the "best" ending will result. The player will have secured an alliance between China and the United States, ending the Second Cold War, Chloe's survival prevents Menendez's cyberattack from succeeding, and Mason's survival allows him to visit Frank Woods in retirement, reuniting with Section. The final scene shows Menendez in prison, watching a talk show with Jimmy Kimmel interviewing Chloe, becoming frustrated and enraged when he finds out that has lost everything and she insults him during the interview; he bashes his head into the TV, stumbles, holds his right hand to his bleeding forehead, then licks the blood off his fingers before laughing it off.

It’s a shame that we never got a good conclusion for these beloved characters. Mason and Woods. I wish we would have had another game that takes place after this. It seems they hinted at it in the end when Menendez had his video go live and had a bunch of comments carrying on his legacy. Or they could have made a prequel to this game that explains where mason was what he was doing and what lead him to go into hiding. Unfortunately the way COD is going now they will probably butcher it and ruin the timeline and the nostalgia of the old games that were good.
