In between my bream fishing, i love targeting kingfish and mulloway. Been a while since i attempted to catch some kingfish and they are turning on in the harbour! Was a great session and its only going to get better!

I love my hobie lynx too. Nice and light easy to load and unload. I have a new toy to play around in my lynx. Wondering how the kingfish looks like in the livescope. Soon I will set it up in the lynx. Nice video @Mic

Hey man, i think the 4000 size reel is ideal with 20lb and maybe a 4-8kg rod, i think this would be a great setup to stop some kingies

Hey Mick, nice clip mate. When you say you should have a heavier outfit what do you think is ideal for kingy fishing around that kind of structure?

Hey dave, with heavy structure on the bottom i dont think you can give them any sort of chance especially bigger kings, i would say a 4000-5000 reel maybe 20-30lb braid, 30-50lb leader

Doing that standing is amazing! Would you mind sharing you weight? I'm about 110 and am thinking of getting a lynx for more chill stuff and using my revolution offshore. Also sounder wise, the mapping is probably my favourite feature and I normally have the map on 1/2 and then sonar the other half and hitting way points in areas with lots of marks then drifting back over them in a more stealth fashion.

@@flickwithmick God willing you have the chance. Would love to take you if you are ever up here for a bass and bream flick. We sometimes hook monster jacks and GT if we are lucky... That's a really nice fish brother but considered a jack bait where I plan on taking you. It's no joke how big some of the fish can be. I can guarantee you will break your PB. Bream over 50cm are not uncommon 👌😁
