Unexpected to see them both on the track this early in the season (they normally start much, much later), but a welcome surprise of course. I expect "Formula Kersee" to mainly be there for a bit of publicity and also some team building/fun since they chose to compete in the relays. Nevertheless we might get some indications on how trainings are progressing and in general it's just good for the sport that they are both out there ...

McLaughlin certainly needs this as a welcome training for the Olympics in Paris. There she will at last meet World Champion Femke Bol on the 400m hurdles on August 9....😊😊😊

Interestingly, sprinter Jenna Prandini is on the Mt. Sac Relays start-lists of the LONG JUMP as well as the 4x1 (Keni, Syd, Jenna & Morolake Akinosun) & 4x4 (Jenna, Athing, Syd & Chloe Abbott)! Can't wait to see that 4x1 up against Coach Flo's 4x1 of Dina, Rhasidat, Lanae & Julien. Would've been cool to see Athing in that 4x1 team too for the fun of it :)

@@TrackAndFieldAllDay The Formula Kersee is elegant because Jenna Prandini has good experience, especially in curves remember the Oregon 2022 world championship, Akinosun can do the anchor leg because she had the experience of Rio 2016, Sydney can do the excellent second leg because she's fast, and garrison can open Harrison 1st leg - Sydney 2nd leg - Prandini the third leg - Akinosun anchor leg

@@joaofernandodasilva681 Prandini's third leg in Eugene was one of the best third legs ever. Your relay order is perfect by the way.

Sydney is fast, she worked on her speed for the 400 world record. Don't forget that at 18 she ran the 200m in 22.39, as well as the 100 hurdles and the 100 flat. 2 years ago she ran 12.75 on hurdles.

I didn’t see any clips of Athing running?

They didn't take part in the 4x4. The team pulled out. Only Sydney ran in the 4x100m.
