Yes a daily Vlogmas is most welcome. Christmas there (Aust.) is always welcome. "No more sake for you!". Excellent justification "it tasted like water". See if mom buys it. Fun video today. Enjoyed it! Thanks!!

Thanks Janice for getting out and about with your foodie recommendations in Sydney. I'm due back over to Sydney early next year on my trip to Oz. Even though been before you're coving places I've not visited. I have also kept that bar you visited in my mind, the one in Ultimo I think it was, the speakeasy behind that unassuming door.

Have you been to the Japanese restaurant/Izakaya on Cammeray Road? It’s very authentic, mostly just full of Japanese expats, not cheap but has a great atmosphere and the food is fantastic.

Compare the Aussie Double Big Mac to the USA's regular Big Mac. And the pies. There just isn't any justification for USA having to put up with 'baked' pies, while the rest of the world still gets to enjoy them fried 😭

That Japanese Sake restaurant was very interesting. Reversed Tapas. Instead of ordering a drink and they bring you a side dish, you order a dish and they bring you a side drink! I also like daylight saving time. I would stay on that schedule all year long if I could. They talk about making it the standard time here in Eastern-Canada and USA. That piece of beef looks incredible 10:07 😋 Now I think I will cook a roasted beef next weekend!

Now that the world is opening back up, I'm planning a world tour in May. Nomidokoro Indigo just made my list of must visit places. Thanks for the recommendation. I expect to be in Sydney for 2-3 days. I see other comments about a peanut butter bar.... OMG 💗😍🤩 Even for an American, my love of peanut butter is a bit over the top. I put peanut butter on my peanut butter!! 😆 Hope you get to review that place soon. Side notes... 1) There was a push to introduce Emu in the USA in the early '90s. It was interesting, but not enough to catch on. It's still available in the USA, but it's an expensive specialty meat. 2) If you ever get to travel to the Florida Keys, you will find Alligator on the menu at many restaurants. Dunno how similar Alligator is to Crocodile, but I thought Alligator was kind of in between chicken and fried fish (like in fish and chips) in flavour and texture. Thanks for all your vlogs and recommendations!!

Hi Janice! Great video! Any possibility of finding Mexican (even Taco Bell) in Australia? Fast food Mexican in the US is up there with pizza to me! It is unhealthy so I have it exactly once per year. Real restaurant Mexican is better but I don't discount the fast food places. Taco Johns is my all time favorite, which is not available in my current state in the US :( I am hardly a sake connoisseur (I usually buy mine at Kroger, because I am a Midwest American person), but icy sake is the best IMHO!

Janice - fun video as always. Can I suggest the restaurant at Vaucluse House (officially now called The Estate) - it sits in lovely grounds and you sit outside if the weather is fine. Off street parking is free. The high tea is very nice. I was there 2 weeks ago.

I went to an exotic food event in sydney a decade or so ago wich we ate insects, snakes, kangaroo, emu, ostrich, crocodile, alligator, sheep, goat, veal, several types of beef, deer, bear, ox, too many things from water to name. was fun to try new things. Also Mint ice cream is my favourite flavour.

Hey Janice. Check out Cafe Elementary in Lindfield. Awesome brekky menu and excellent coffee. It’s just up from the awesome Cafe Feoh and on the same side. The bacon and egg brekky wrap is superb! And speaking of Cafe Feoh, don’t forget to try their rocket and avo salad (add chook). It’s do die for!

break the brick to feed the birds. break the coins to serve those ten cent pieces. sign the verbal contract to make the sale using cryptic sign language and by speaking in tounges. be sure to speak in a language your audience does not understand. don't be a used car salesman. use hardcore extortion sales tactics by working as a cleaner at a food court instead to earn your commission today from their world. wear black head to toe. carry a bum bag and carry a shoulder bag.
