It takes a lot of convincing. Gigguk has the advantage of being in Japan, working with Kadokawa, and knowing some japanese to convince the higher ups. Even then he only got to stream a few eps back then. It was only recently until he was able to stream a full season. Evne then I think he's only able to stream specific animes thats owned by the people he's talking to Also LOTS OF MONEY

They got the license that is why they were sponsored by them. They just didn’t have right to stream the entire season.

Most streamers/youtubers own crunchyroll cause it has less ads and they want to support the anime industry. We all know how little the animators are working for I know theres illegal sites to watch anime but its generally a good thing to support the people who create the anime

They were sponsored to watch a episode and not all the episodes. This is a licensing thing. They can't continue watching without putting Crunchy Roll in a very tough position with all the media companies that allow Crunchy Roll to host their content.

Sure. But I wouldn't give a service for free like that when the sponsorship is to reach and interest new/old audiences into subscribing. You can still watch it online through the appropiate means.

First off learn to properly type out a message. Secondly it's not weird at all. Being sponsored means you are free to do anything besides talk shit about the product within an allotted time. After that it's up to your viewers whether or not they thought it was good enough to indulge in the service. An example of something similar are free trials for services.
