Swordsoul is really good, it's definitely tier 1. It's as powerful as Branded Despia or any of the other tier 1 decks

When you mean consistent, do you mean it doesn't brick a lot?

its a deck with its high ceiling depending on the pilot. It pretty much beats any deck in any situation with the right owner

@@jameslibero3363 yes. Many decks are strong but less consistent decks means higher chamce of bricking. Thats why many metadecks have a 1 or 2 card engine to start a combo.

Agreed. But if sykkuno doesn't practice against other high tier decks like branded or tri, he might get smoked in the tourny. Still would be pretty entertaining to watch though.

Try doing all first few the missions in solo mode and the new event to get more gems also buy the bundle deals if u haven't

@@JuneTV03 That's what I'm doing right now. I'm hoping to be able to reach 100 levels on the next "duel pass" so I can craft 4 UR. I have been so unlucky with opening packs, I have more icejades than swordsoul or/and branded/despia cards combined. I even opened the fallen of albaz secret packs

@@leemay3097 you can dismantle them to get fragments, if you like swordsoul more than despia just decide on one deck to use and get rid of the branded cards

Every 3 cards get you 30 fragments to craft a new one of the same rarity

@@JuneTV03 yeah, except my second reason to play master duel was to learn how to play my branded deck. I just got back to YGO after 16 years, and I bought Albaz strike structure deck x3 + other products IRL. I was hoping to re-create my budget branded deck into master duel to learn how to play it. Unfortunately, branded despia deck requires so much UR cards in master duel in order to function properly. That's why I decided to go for swordsoul since I like fusion and synchro summons asides from so many people recommending as easy to play and Tier 1 until tierlaments ishuzu comes.

@adrenaline8100 Synchro summons needs an exact sum of lvls of materials (face-up monsters on field) used equal to the synchro monsters level. There are also other requirements listed on each synchro monster for its specific materials. Almost every synchro takes 1 Tuner and 1+ non-tuner monsters, which means you can only use one monster that is a tuner but however many monsters to add together to the tuners lvl to match the synchros level. (This is notably different from ritual summoning because you can exceed the level of monsters used for a ritual monster you summon.) The best synchro monsters are usually generic, meaning that the only requirements to make them is the one tuner and one or more non-tuners. However, there are a lot of archetypes that have synchro monsters that have more restrictions such as using other synchro monsters, monsters in archetypes, or monsters with specific typings and/or attributes. It is also worth noting that there is an asterisk attached to every ruling in yugioh because they often like making monsters of a certain archetype cheat out monsters from the extra deck. (For instance: Ursarctics completely ignores the mechanics for synchro summoning and instead uses a different method to special summon synchro monsters)

Its just simple math if u have lvl 2 tunner monster and you want summon lvl 6 u need lvl 4 non tunner monster

it needs to add up to the exact stars lvl, but also each card will say something like "1 tuner + 1+ non-tuner monsters" meaning at least one needs to be a tuner then the monster(s) dont need to be (but you still can use more than one tuner monster)

Most use baxia as a synchro material

The usual combo making Chaofeng is using Tenyi. Ashuna SS, link into Monk. Adhara/Vishuda SS from hand, then using ashuna effect to SS adhara/vishuda, depending on the situation because you want to make lv 8 synchro baxia. Then Baxia effect, destroy monk to ressurect Adhara from grave. By using both, you got chaofeng. This combo is nibiru proof. Because enemy need nibiru before chaofeng hit the field. The good thing is, you can normal summon mo ye after that, though you will be locked into wyrm type only.

O honestly just use Draco beserker. It has another negate plus would get higher attack by destroying another monster

my combo line here would be immediately summoning ecclesia, so i can discard the adhara when i eventually need to summon longyuan. tributing for mo ye (if negated i still have adhara), then summoning chixiao, adding longyuan and discarding to summon the synchro baronne

Extrav locks you from drawing for the rest of the turn. (Prosp does too but he had Extrav) so Chicken Game would be a useless card at that stage.

tbh dark magician decks couldn’t beat og yugioh decks. there are so many interesting and fun yugioh decks to play, im tired of streamers resorting to the boring blue eyes, red eyes, dark magician, etc. strategies.

Umm DM is actually relatively decent deck, faaar from meta relevant, but with the right pilot it is very competent rogue deck. But with all due respect someone like SYkkuno should stick to tiered decks for any tournaments

@@rq4740 the classic mode would be like casual where you dont earn any challenges or gold pass rank. (so you wont get gems or card materials) just a fun/practice mode

Agreed that's why rogue decks are the best and capture the true essence of Yu-Gi-Oh. I mean let's be honest we all would rather watch Barian sharks vs evil eye than watch branded Despia vs Swordsoul
