If I am honest The song has a great sound etc no doubt But what I love about it is that it forced me learnand educate myself about something I was not aware of. He wanted the youth to educate themselves about bigger issues than “I have no internet connection “ to make there own decisions and raise voice against any kind of misfortune past or present. He is not trying to divide, he is try to raise awareness and to educate the youth . Love his thinking tho a little risky but that was his style his class and only he had the nerve to do so. He didn’t play safe, he knew he wasn’t safe anymore so he wanted to do as much as he could before he left us. He gave us a different thinking in his music, his music was for people who wanted to invest in his thinking, and he addressed matters that have been forgotten about due to political issues, money, gangs etc ..Gone too soon

Legend huh! A bloody man who only appreciates those who murder officers who act on the orders of politicians. I don't think he is a legend. Punjab needs a better way to manage its water. Even the Punjab government had signed a MoU with Israel to adopt better methods of water management. The problems of Punjab and Haryana government should be resolved bilaterally. Sidhu was just one person who used to create controversy in his songs and in those songs he did not want that problems should be solved through talks but he wants the problem to be solved by power and not law. His song is pushing Punjab in the wrong direction of violent, unstable and complicated Punjab. He says to give back to his family (Haryana and Himachal) as they were part of the same kingdom at once. Then as a Magadhi I must say give me the whole of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Butan, Pakistan, Afghanistan as they were part of our kingdoms at different times. Punjab, Haryana and Himachal have different culture and language. Lastly, I love all my countrymen, irrespective of their language, caste, religion. We must find a solution in a peaceful way. Okay, I need to point out some things here 1. When he says to release the sikh prisoners, he means the sikh political prisoners who have completed their sentences and are still kept in jails as preventive measures. 2. When he says pagga waleya and topi waleya, By pagga he means people of punjab Haryana and all regions of greater Panjab (pre-1960) where paggs are worn by community leaders and with topi waleya he means politicians and not Hindus 3. When he says sovereignty, it’s doesn’t means separate nation but autonomy powers to state as it was proposed after the independence that India will adopt federal structure but as we see today center has way more power than states. I think you should had pointed these out too so that people can understand that this song isn’t punjab vs Haryana but punjab vs center govt. Cause In the song he says, punjab doesn’t share water cause it’s being forced and not asked. Forced you know we have a lot of historical evidence even the 1984. So I think it should clear a lot of things here. I think we should all try to go deeper in the meaning as Sidhu moosewala being a very talented person has used layers in the lyrics. At the end, we want to see a great nation where everyone is empowered and made feel equal. Jai hind 🇮🇳
