Hi mam, In this case, you can concentrate mainly on vowel teams and diphthongs...like showing and reading more words on these.. Gradually they will learn to write...

Blend mean include all blend thane illa only r and l mattuma mam... Mountain is Moun/tain 2 syllable correctaa mam.

When we join 2 letters and pronounce both sounds, that is Blend. When we join 2 letters and pronounce 1 different sound, that is Digraph. In dolphin, ph is a digraph.. Mountain has 2 syllables.. you are correct..
