This video is about Syllogism tricks for ssc and banking exam. Usually around 4 to 5 question comes during exams from Syllogism concept. In every aptitude Syllogism question comes in reasoning section and this is a very short and easy trick to solve Syllogism questions by using a Venn diagram.

Nice trick of syllogs . Great idea to connect this topic with accounting part i.e. with income n expenditure. I just like the colorful idea But it is not considering perfect tricks for syllogisms for exm purpose.

Last Q, option a is correct since option 4 (or d) is just same as statement a. You cannot have the same conclusion as any of the statement.

Thanks for this video. Your extra efforts made me understand the concept better. Even though you said a particular line wrong ' Income can never be greater than expenditure' I still understood the concept because you explained step wise step. Please pin a comment stating ' Expenditure can never be greater than Income '. Though we know loans and credit card are the sweetest poison which solve the problem just fine.

R.PRABU SARAN i guess u are referring to Q 2 (Sal, Ash and Abishek). The first 3 conclusions are correct and 4th incorrect, per my review too-Sal and Abi are disjointed/have nothing in common so a & b are correct; Ash is part of Abi so c is correct & d is wrong.

If in 1st statement value of b is 100 while in 2nd statement value of b is 50 then there is any relation between both statements or not? For eg- 1. All papers are books 2. Some papers are files. So there is connection between both statement is paper but paper=100 in 1st while paper=50 in 2nd statement.

If any of the values is 100 then we can solve it.. As per your doubt, statement (a) has 50 as it's value on intelligent And statement (b) has 100 as it's value on intelligent Here, any one should be 100, and so it is. Or both as 100. That's how sum is solved.

In 4th example(viz. plants & herbs) u have used same statements as premises and as well as conclusions.Stmt-a=concln-d and stmt-b=concln-b. So there's no need to apply any rule to derive conclusions.

This is an explanation for all those who are asking how to apply +ve -ve rule on problems with more than 2 statements: Let's say we have a problem with 3 statements. now firstly we check the 1st conclusion is valid or not. Now this 1st conclusion will be either negative or positive and it contains two elements. now this two elements are either from one statement or maximum two statements. now our first conclusion is say positive and two elements of it are from two different statements. Now we apply the +ve -ve rule on those two statements 1) if the outcome is positive then we can proceed further and check with income expense method. If the conclusion satisfys income expense method then it is valid . 2) if the outcome is negative then the conclusion is invalid even if it satisfys the income expense method(we assumed that the 1st conclusion is positive) . Apply the same procedure for all other conclusions.
