It seemed like Oda and Koro were the only two apes that knew how to fight. Because the other ape elder of the Eagle clan surrendered when he was found, and all the other apes were basically beat up, rounded up and tied up quite easily by Proximus's army.

Oda was probably the clan’s top warrior. Would’ve been cool if he faced off against Lightning before dying.

This is honestly my favorite part of the movie. That when apes raided their village, riding on horses, burned their homes, capturing other apes, killing the elders, these apes are by far are close to becoming more humans.

For an old chimpanzee, Koro put up a decent fight against a gorrila weilding an electric weapon. He took a knock, got burnt, got electrocuted, but still kept fighting him to save his son. Only when the gorrila gave him the constant rib smash, he couldn't get back up. 😢

One of my favorite things about Noa as a protagonist is that, even after everything Sylva does to Noa, he never seeks revenge. He obviously has some strong feelings, but he only comes to Proximus to free his people, never expresses hatred for Silva. When Silva is drowning Noa watches, but doesn’t gloat or mock him.
