It's no accident with Alcest. Neige and Kathrine are good friends, and Neige has been a supporter of Sylvaine since basically the start. I assume you know of blackgaze, otherwise there is a whole genre of bands who build upon what Neige started with Alcest.

Thus, the vocalist Sylvaine (same name of the band) emphasizes this blend in her vocal style. Alcest is another example of Blackgaze. There are a lot of bands in the scope, by the way.
