I understand that most people collect them seriously but looking at the price of action figures as the latest trends the cost is actualy pretty on par with the sf. So I realy dont have a problem with my boys playing with them especialy the 6 year old he is gentle an will be bought as toys afterall.

I used to collect Sylvanian families as a little girl. Well in the toy stores I went to they were called Calico Critters and I mostly had the cat and bunny families but those things were super adorable.

My collection is in storage for my own children as I'm more into American girl dolls now but they are so cute if a little expensive. Then again I'll pay anything for stuff if it's cute enough, American girls are $110!
