Actor/Director/Producer/ScriptWriter/Painter
Sylvester Stallone
has been painting for over 35 Years.
In 2013 he had an Exhibits of some of his paintings
it took place in Russia.
In this clip he analyzes his painting of late legendary singer and icon
Michael Jackson.
I dont know how deep Sylvester knew Michael in real life?
But i do know he have had Michael over for dinner in the mid 80's while he was married to Brigitte Nielsen.

People are misinterpreting what he is saying. He is NOT saying MJ is guilty, he is saying he put on a mask, as do many hollywood stars. They don't let people see who they really are. He is saying there was darkness in Michael, when there seemed to be so much happiness. The darkness steming from his childhood. Maybe he put up a mask because he wanted a certain public image. He wanted to be a child when he was a fully grown adult. Lisa Marie also said something similar, that he didn't really let the public see who he really was. And that is NOT saying that MJ was guilty. People don't listen properly to what he is saying, just picking out parts. I believe MJ was innocent, and misunderstood. People are taking the doc at face value, and not researching.

Hello my name is John Beler. I was born in 1990 and missed the 80s but I ended up with all of Michaels music anyway. Dangerous is my favorite album. Just love the change in pace after Bad. The reason I believe Michael was guilty is because I googled it one night. Simple yet effective, the amount of information on this topic is overwhelming. I still like his stuff but I won’t be sticking my neck out for anyone anymore.

I don't think he actually meant that MJ was in any way evil. He say "he has a great evil side" but then proceeds to describe the darkness that comes when a superstar has peaked and has to deal with the dark depression that comes with it. That is not MJ being evil, it's MJ having this dark side to his life that became his downfall. Very poorly worded, Stallone.

I though at first he was taking shots at Michael. But really his painting is just a metaphor, from the standpoint of Michael Jackson is all of us. Stars like himself mainly, with hidden inner sins and contradictions and having to play a character your whole life. He’s making in fact a comparison with HIMSELF. Of course this is from his own standpoint that all these allegation against Michael are true. He’s saying none of us are perfect. And in that I agree, considering the charges to be true, this is the position people should hold, although I do not believe them. We all sin. And I’d argue, MJ atoned for those sins because he spoke out against powerful, evil people in our oligarchy and was murdered for it.

This is a classic example of how people made out MJ to be this unusual cryptic personality based on their own wild assumptions just because MJ wasn't social. His bond with children was too good to be true, and people always saw it to be a 'cover' because there simply wasn't anyone on the face of this Earth that was as dedicated towards children as he was. Confusing and contradictory? If at all he was anything, he was consistent. More consistent than any other stars in interviews. He was honest about not having a childhood and about difficulties understanding his father. He did honestly say that he was lonely. He loved showmanship and performance, and felt comfortable and at home on stage. But that is his job! Everyone has a job, so does he. I don't understand what's so mysterious or weird about him. He seems like a normal gentleman to me. What did you say? MJ visited orphanages and hospitals in every place he went, donated millions to charity, opened his doors for busloads of sick and deprived children, and founded Heal The World Foundation? Oh, that must be a cover to that evil side he has that nobody knows! Really, wow. The painting is really stunning, but I'm so disappointed about where it came from.

"Oh, that must be a cover to that evil side he has that nobody knows! Really, wow." I'm assuming your're being sarcastic here due to the context in which it was said, but have you ever heard of Jared Fogle? You might want to research him before assuming to know Micheal Jackson's intentions and the lengths a child molester will go through to not get caught while continuing to do what he or she does to children. Jared showed us that child molester's will not stop on their own, but only due to outside forces that physically prevent them from their crazy deeds. Also, the Jared Fogle scndel, as well as the Harvey Weinstein scandal, demonstrates to us that common sense must be used to see that nobody in their right mind is going to go through all that trouble just to help someone else, not without expecting something in return. Their is some evidence that has been backed up, i.e. James Safechuck and Micheal Jackson buying wedding rings, but of course Micheal said it was for Sheryl Crow. Really??? LMFAO!!! I don't even need to speak on that, because that shit sells itself, but sometimes we have to use common sense to see that this whole thing looks bad. It not just because he was anti-social, but rather because he admitted to sleeping with children that aren't his, all while being a grown man. If that doesn't do it for you, then nothing will, not until it's too late anyway. Anyhow, best wishes.

Dick Jones well unlike Jared, Michael has a really good, innocent reason to why he liked to hang out and spend most of his time on helping kids. Im not trying to write a whole biography but I’m just gonna say that from what we have about the so-called “victims” against Michael, it seems to me and many other people that these “victims” are most likely just greedy and selfish people. As she said, Michael was a really open person and invited possibly thousands. Now there is a REALLY high chance of at least one of those parents being really selfish and greedy to the point where they’d do anything for Money. And judging by what Michael has done for children including actually saving some of their lives, and what Michael has been through himself as a child, and how aware Michael was about the government and just the world itself was only getting worse. It’s most-likely that Michael wasn’t a pedo. Michael did do some sketchy stuff but i do believe there was an innocent reason behind it. I just feel like people now have a false-sense of him so now everything good he has done is somehow turned into something sinister.? Sounds like you haven’t done enough research on him. I feel like you’re only going off of your suspicions. That whole “admitting to sleepovers” thing is kinda ironic since if Michael was a pedo, wouldn’t he try to hide the fact that he did have sleepovers? Because common sense. If you know you did something wrong, you would deny anything that even hints to what you’re being accused of. And seeing how he wasn’t scared about opening up about it. Im guessing Michael just genuinely thought having sleepovers with kids wasn’t so wrong since Michael did it with other non-related adults when he was young. But Michael knew what happened in the bedroom. Michael was not normal. EVERYONE knows that but Weird ≠ Criminal. And going by the facts the facts tells me that all his accusers motive is Money since there are way too many inconsistencies in each story and there was always a dollar sign for the “victims” at the end of the battle. And going by what we have of Michael. I think Michael genuinely cared and loved children, animals, nature, god, etc. Michael feels the hurt of the sick and deprived as he was a victim as well. If you haven’t already I suggest you watch this: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rr1ijKpprdC-qHk.html

I suggest you educate yourself on how predators operate. A good start is a book called "Predators" by Anne C. Salter, which is a harrowing academic study on the psychologies of pedophiles, sadists, and rapists. www.jaacap.org/article/S0890-8567(09)61616-6/fulltext (can only find a review and a few quotes online though I'm afraid) There's many similarities to the behavour of MJ and to that of serial molesters, Salter documented many cases in which after several children came forward to the Catholic churches about sexual abuse, not only were they silenced but they were immediately disbelieved because they accused members who almost without exception had stellar public images. So it is no coincidence that pedophiles like Michael Jackson usually have very good reputations. His charity work, family-friendly image, at the height of his career, was actually part of his predatory makeup. He saw children as his targets, and niceness as a necessary strategy to gain access to these targets. He very likely had no actual empathy beyond what he presented to the world. MJ wasn't a nice person who happened to rape kids. He was a nice person BECAUSE he raped kids.

I think the actual genius in Michael is that nobody really could figure him out, including Sylvester who is attempting it here like so many who tried before him. For many people that's bothersome because we want to put everyone and everything into little boxes. Therefore MJ remains a figure that is very mystical. Michael once said that if he could be an action hero he would like to be 'Morph' from X-men. Morph is a character who can change its appearance like 'Mystique'. I'll let you do the rest of the thinking.

@@BlairAndMicah Blair, I've known LOTS of humans in this life. I've known honest ones, dishonest ones, clear, and confused ones. I watched mike twist, distort, and disfigure himself over decades, get accused not once but multiple times of child sexual assault, publicly seen his inability to have a normal relationship with a woman, seen his very public preference for little boys, read a police and other reports detailing a home with tons or porn, kiddy porn, homoerotic porn, alcohol, and years/maybe decades of SERIOUS drug addiction, and probably most damning - heard firsthand accounts of his very own father being a serial incestuous pedophile. Joe's sexual assaults on Rebbie and Latoya (those are the ones we know of) went on for years in their house growing up. It seems like lots of people conveniently forget this, or don't want to address this critical detail. Sexual assault effects everyone in a family culture, not just those directly involved. All the while mj himself and his family selling some squeaky clean - not only religious, but messianic image of the guy. Hmm, ok, well to each their own! But the pushing, PUSHING this image became a full time job. And no matter how hard or long they pushed, the reality kept rearing its ugly, tortured head, least of all in mike's actual tortured face. Maybe they all just wanted to forget and retreat into fantasyland. And certainly mj did. He preferred fantasy because reality was just TOO painful. Anyway, then, out of this background of reams of all these exceptional indicators come two articulate, highly empathetic adult men who detail years, YEARS of conduct that basically confirms what all the circumstantial evidence relayed, starting when they were little star struck children. All the messianic, purity campaign was just another part of the gimmick. That the family, and probably mj himself started to believe it was real probably attests to the fact that it worked so well on his fans, and the PR machine played it to the hilt. It really reminds me SO much of trump and how he has duped a small and very loud portion of the American public. Humans are vulnerable and desperately WANT heroes. MJ was a massively GIFTED talent. He was also a deeply wounded, angry, and emotionally/psychically fucked up guy who I think rationalized - thinking he was hiding - his preference for boys and wrapped it up into what was conveniently available - his mother's (probably) religious image of her famous son as some kind of savior. I think for those who bought into the image/facade it's WAY more difficult to even consider even the possibility that mj is other than what he was meant to appear to be. Gratefully not everyone bought the story in the first place and this all just confirms what common sense has pointed to all along. Sorry, I 100% believe these two men.

I get what he is saying. Life is hard and messy. It can break your heart and leave scars. It doesn't mean your evil. It means your human and feel pain. The only thing that can heal that is unconditional love and forgiveness. Which is what M.J. always tried to teach and remind people through one example after another. When attacked he always turned the other cheek. He seems soft as butter on the outside, however inside he was as tough as tree roots.

He is saying MJ is playing a character that he created and what he wants people to see. A lot of people do this, especially in the work place. They try not to show their flaws. The evil side to that to what Sly is saying is how MJ kept changing his appearance and MJs actions led him to his own destruction. The media try to destroy him but Michael ultimately destroyed himself in the end. Sly never mentions the allegations, he mentions that MJ views himself as an angelic person but in reality there is two sides to him. Obviously his obsession with his face was not in the slightest bit normal. There's a phone conversation that MJ said that he changed his looks to not look like his father and he retaliate on himself. It seemed Michael set himself up because he didn't like what he saw. If he avoided such things and certain situations hense surrounding himself with kids, he would not have went the path he did. He was a genius but didn't have common sense

Victor Bastos That's not what Stallone says, but never mind. What Stallone says is a reflection of MJs media made character. MJ himself was never childish, also nothing what he created was childish. He simply loved to play - but the fact is most adults do. Those who knew MJ personally close enough ALL say how nice he was. Not an everyday person, but his talents weren't everyday, either.

I can see his painting of Michael was really ONLY himself. Everything that Michael Jackson evolved into was from medical conditions. The mask was to keep his lung disease controlled. The glove was to cover up the Vitiligo as were the bandaids. His fingernails had lost pigment and the cuticle still had dark around the nails. Asshole geo lopez made fun of him like he was dirty. He called his fingers nasty. He broke his nose at rehearsal and had his 1st nose job!! His good ole brothers still called him names. After his hair caught on fire and recd 3rd degree burns he really got away from bullying adults. He always said kids don’t know what they want from you. The big kids sure did. He fell 50 ft onto his back at rehearsal...again. Pain pills. Stallone was right about his brain being pulled in 2 directions. He had to have a balloon implanted over his brain because his scull was caving in. And he wore wigs and he had arthritis in the majority of his back. I’m so depleted from actors who have gotten their education from scripts. Creative license comes so easy to them. Good for nothing else.

We all have our demons but I think Sylvester over analyzed Michael Jackson 's demons. It's just like me being critical of his paintings. It seems Sylvester's personal demons are reflected in his Michael Jackson painting. All Michael Jackson wanted to do was have a normal life unlike Sylvester who is always out in public needs that adulation from his fans to Solidify his existence. If I splattered vibrant colors on a canvas and screeched Black licorice on to the same canvas will you still think it's art? If Basquait wasn't friends with Warhol or dated Madonna how much would his work be worth? SLY you owe the Jackson family an apology. If Janet Jackson painted the same picture of your mom Jackie and said the same thing would you be offended ? Maybe your brother Frank can write a song about it. A lot of people don't know Stallone was born With part of his face being paralyzed. He was teased as a kid maybe that is why he is so judgmental. Could be that is where all his demons come from . His mother was a fortune teller maybe he can look into her crystal ball and figure it out. I would like to see that movie. "That's right you ain't so bad "

The concept of duality is a hard one to shed. But once you understand things are as they are you'll realized you can have evil without good and good without evil. We go through things that mold us....not reinvent us. If you're wearing a mask then you are the mask, the mask is you and there is no mask.

Well done! These have been my exact thoughts about Michael Jackson for years and now Sylvester Stallone put words to it. I love the fact that he painted Jackson with a pointed finger at himself, because he would play the wounded puppy for most of his life and blame the world, the media, the industry when in fact Michael Jackson had himself to blame. He didn't need hysterical crying fans, yes-men and isolation, the man needed therapy to leave his childhood behind and man up. He needed to take charge and control of his tragic down spiraling life and not subject his children to the same prison he's had in his own childhood. I love M.J but I can see though the cracks of the mask he put on.

It's so interesting what Sly's saying, and true he should have grown up at some point and really get therapy, it's the same with anyone, you have to get over it. I mean he did have some real friends, which is more important than the millions, why live in self pity and self destruct? I never thought he abused the children and that he was just very sensitive and fragile but now after this interview.. wow. New point of view. It's no use people here or anywhere commenting that he was innocent/guilty, cos they don't know.

Pink Cotton Candy You didn't know the man personally either 😑 It's best to go by what his *close* friends and family have said about him and it didn't include being a Disney character 😂 Do you believe all the crap you read? That man was no naive child that needed to "grow up". He was clearly a very intelligent businessman and self-made billionaire. He owned *other* peoples' music and was *very* powerful (more so than any other artist before or after him). You must've never seen Michael Jackson concert footage or listened to some of his songs. That shit is NOT Disney 😂 Good Lord... An image was definately pushed on him (which he himself said he wasn't fond of), to satisfy *other* peoples' weird fantasies. The truth is always a hell of a lot more boring, sorry.
