@@fatherviable When I finally got to listen and watch the Warner Bros 'Animaniacs' cartoon series; I knew that the female cartoon house cat Rita, just wasn't very funny at all. She never made the 1990s adult generation laugh! She has the same fur color coordinates and eye colors; Tom from 'Tom and Jerry,' always had.

@mohamed zayan Well there's a fan theory that says Wile E. Coyote, the original, is the one that is in Bugs Bunny shorts and speaks, he's the master mind and owner of ACME, and the Coyote in Road Runner is actually various dumb Coyote clones, that are used to test ACME products while chasing that Road Runner. When one actually dies, another clone takes over to continue when the other left off, and when one die, we never see the clone get out of there.

Not only did he have roughly 70 deaths, he clearly caused the deaths of at least 2 others. (The red cat with the balloon, and the guy in the boat). I'm not counting the gangsters and Wile E Coyote, because that was their fault.

It could be argued that he indirectly killed Elmer too (it was technically Elmer’s fault, but Sylvester drove him to do it by annoying him).

The boat guy doesn't count as a death for either. Yes, they sink but they don't appear to die from it. Sometimes cartoon characters are immune to deaths, like the countless times Wile E Coyote have fallen several hundred feet to crash into the ground blown up, electrocuted and whatever and still he's just hurt and humiliated. When you watch cartoons, especially Looney Tunes and those wacky ones from the Golden Age, realism shouldn't be applied too much and be taken with several pitchers of salt.

I was curious how many kills there were in the looney tunes, and even though cartoon physics and looniness kept them alive I wonder how many deaths truly happened. They’re all officially recognized deaths. Cartoon laws state if a character doesn’t move or get back up, it’s technically a “death”.

Cartoon logic differs from real life logic. Like Sylvester a cartoon character would "die" at the end of one cartoon. In the next cartoon the character is alive and kicking.

I’m curious what your criteria was. Some of this was pretty obvious. Some of it was implied. In the Looney Tunes world, being badly hurt doesn’t mean you die. In particular, the short with the shark. I thought that was open ended.

Besides 80s and 90s cartoons and the scary/nasty or stupid BS in them... Sylvester's infamous "self annihilation" by bomb demise was the most disturbing thing of my childhood. The piano crash sound only added to the terror. .. Fitty... Fitty f*cks. And it was an organ fugue.

Some of those deaths don't count, like Syvester getting attacked by the dogs after the alarm clock waking them up Even if you don't see him getting out of the assault, doesn't count as there are comfirmation that he DID die unlike most of them. Same goes with Sylvester crashing into the fisherman's boat and sinks with him in the lake. By the way, are you going to do more death count videos now that you have done this one? Tom the Cat dies a lot too although a couple of times he dies in dreams (like the one he has to get Jerry sign an Aplogy Contract before the Train to Heaven departs or he'll end up in Hell) and therefore doesn't count.
