The music video for this legendary disco track was filmed at the Embassy Club in London. It was very last minute because the record jumped up the British charts suddenly and one of the dancers whom I knew asked me if I wanted to be an extra in the club scenes part of the video. As an 18 year old college student I said yes and I have now found myself here on KZfaq 43 years later! 😂.

Probably just about the only time a pale face appeared on the show was when the group Tower of Power was the musical guest. And to their credit I believe they were the only band to have performed live. I highly recommend looking it up on KZfaq. They sounded great, and the interview in between songs wasn't even that bad.

In my opinion, Soul Train was better than Bandstand. The intro was better( the animatedTrain), the dance floor ambiance was magical, and everyone was dressed so fabulous. Plus the Soul Train line dance was always amazing.
