Je ne sais pas pourquoi certaines interprétations nous touchent plus que d'autres.....alors que toutes sont d'une téchnicité remarquable! Celle ci me rejoigne droit au coeur et le style de Sylvia touche mon Âme. Cette sensibilité Divine dans la musique qui par moment me fait flipper comme une petite fille sur certains passages de cette interprétation. Sommes nous anormaux de ressentir par nos pores la musique? Encore hier j'ai été catégorisée de "conspirationniste' = le mot à la mode, car je n'adhérais pas aux théories suggérées du monsieur. Merci Mille fois Sylvia ♥ tu touches mon Être le plus pur.

Heel mooi. Heel elegant en met veel kleur gespeeld en zo mooi in harmonie met het orkest. Alsof de concertmeester de solopartij speelt. Het zou zo maar kunnen zijn dat dit in Mozarts tijd ook de gangbare opvatting was.

The real first prize winner without award of 2019 Queen Elizabeth Music Competition(violin). Good virtuosity without showing-off and matured musicality without manufacturing. Fine violinist and fine musician. What kind of music ears of the jury have for this quality playing. Stella Chen is a sweet girl with big talent, but her Schubert Fantasy and Mozart concerto has so many imperfection in violin playing. The jury make imperfect playing win the first prize. Just compare Sylvia's Mozart with Stella's only comparing the technique in violin playing and sound production. Just counting the mistakes or errors.

You are a dumb fuck. I play both Dvorak and Tchaikovsky and Stella Chen's Tchaikovsky was WAYY WAYY better. Sylvia botched the whole last half of the last movement of Dvorak dumbass. Worthless idiot.

It's a very accomplished presentation, recital, showcase, "what have you." She looks good in her comparison with others. I personally am having a hard time appreciating concertos. Since I don't get a lot of feedback with my violin playing, it cripples me in connecting to others. To most people, more "up and coming" skilled performers are probably just something different than the sort of era they followed, the result that came "out of the ruckus." Maybe, to peers, they are just lucky to have done it, something as beautiful as studying classical music. I know Germany etc. are professing of their love of music via classical music. It seems Americans grew up anticipating soft, serious, sad music from the violin, but in Germany it is something fresh and exciting. To me she seems very serious yet expressive. I am 1/2 Asian and wonder if she is, too, except I'm also from the US. It is exciting to see a Eurasian play. Her country sounds interesting to me, too.

Why is the Monica Huggett performance different? In the climax of "presto," Monica plays a totally different melody and it's almost twice as good in my opinion.
