I just finished this one, it's so beautiful! I used Caron Skinny Cakes in Bombe Alaska and added 7 extra rounds on each square to fit my larger body. I also added two extra rows to the neckline. I have so many compliments just from the picture of my finished project. Thank you

Hi Kellie. I made the Jakob’s Ladder pattern in 4 repeating rounds, so you can make the poncho as big as you want. I show how to do that in part 2. Hello @cherrilyn benedicto. I use Lion Brand, Sparkle, Nova. This yarn has about 9 different colors that I “play with”. You can let your artistic side out and create any color combination you like. The pattern for all 4 squares is the same, but you can make every square a different color combination, and that’s what creates a unique poncho for you. 🥰🥰

hi again. There are two ways to adjust the size for a 4 square poncho. You can change the size of the squares and/or you can add more rounds after you connected the squares. The size of the 4 squares on this Poncho is predetermined ❤️BUT❤️ the Jacob’s ladder design (The design that we add around the Squares after we connected them) is a repeating pattern so you can add as many repeats of the Jacob’s ladder design as you like to make the poncho to the size you like. 🥰

Hello @Elina . Unfortunately I don’t have the poncho anymore to double check. But I was able to see in the video (the part where I measure the overall width) it is 19 inches diagonally. 🥰

hi Jacquelyn. this poncho will be probably to big for a child, and I should’ve put „all adult sizes“, but you could try to adjust the neckline to a child‘s size by adding some extra rounds to it. 🥰

I don’t know. I think I’ll just try to eliminate several rows in the circle and also on the square part. I’ll have to guess for the neck hole as she doesn’t live near me. Do you think that will work?

@@kimj.becker5527 . Sorry I took so long to answer you back. I’m probably too late, but you could add a few more rounds around the neckline, and single crochet 3 together where the corners are, so it is decreasing as it gets smaller. Again so sorry for the wait..🥰
