Thanks for the video, I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to connect the drone to my phone. I've been trying but somehow I can't get it to connect. I know I am doing something, but can't figure out what. thanks

It's very expensive for a brushed drone but most of Amazon drones are over priced I bought the 2 axis gimble two battery with bag L109 pro for £120 but I had to wait a few weeks for arrival nice review 👍

I think the price May have been a higher starting price so they can “discount” it. Will be interesting to see it’s price in a month or 2

Nice review. Well done. I wish you would have went over how to connect the device to phone. I am having trouble doing that. It won't unlock or connect so when I go to fly it, it just crashes. Would you be able to help me get setup?

Are you connected to the drones WiFi network?

@zimpaz yes I got connected to the drones wifi and got it working but I had to turn on and off and restart the app numerous times to get it to connect which was annoying. Did you get the drone through the product tester thing they do?

Yes I did. I didn’t have any trouble like that. The app froze up once but that was when I left it for ages fiddling around with cameras so I figured it had timed out.

Thanks for your video! good thing! I have the same drone, and using a SD-Card inside. But it seems the fotos/videos can´t stored on the SD-Card... do you have any hint? Thanks

That’s strange. When I tested it, it saved them to the SD card and transmitted them to the phone. Have you checked the settings? Sorry I only had it for review so don’t have it to check now

@@Zimpaz unfortuntalely i can´t find something in the settings to switch from phone to SD-card... by chance: do you remember the size of the card you used? I´m trying a 64 GB - maybe it´s too big?! but i didn´t found any documentation what the max-size should be...

They are reliable machines my nan used to have the pets and family one the brush stopped spinning but the light was green then I tried to fix it but it stopped turning on

It makes no sense that Syma used BRUSHED motors in this while the Syma W1 and W1 pro use brushless motors. I have both and they really are full featured and fly nice, especially since either are priced less.

Cheaper? Only letdown for me with most syma drones is the software. Always seems a bit buggy

You any idea how to get it to return to home with GPS mine keeps saying no GPS home position stored

Do you have gps mode turned on? I think by default it’s not

@@Zimpaz maybe not then, I didnt select anything. Going by the lights it has a gps signal, do you have to activate it on the app somewhere

@@al6600 how did you get it connected. Mine just keeps saying not connected and I can't get a picture from the camera. It just shows a black screen, and yes the lens is free of blockage

@@NathanLezpona it does that quite a lot, sometimes I have to switch the drone off then go in to phone settings and apps then force stop the syma air app. Switch on the drone and open the app again. It pretty annoying but usually once I've done it its OK for the rest if the flight
