Spider-Man 2099 should get an animated movie like the Spiderverse films.

This is my ish right here! The best Spider-Man Variant gets a symbiote. It's just simple math here, it makes him better, a No Brainer Here. Plus the OG Venom 2099 is Superior as well. All in all the makings of a legendary escapade through the dystopian future of Nueva York.

Had no idea this comic was a thing! Thanks for showcasing it, Gem! I'll just buy them digitally until I can get them collected in at least an oversized hardcover. As much as I love Venom, I've never been a fan of Venom 2099's look. That issue #2 cover looks freaking AWESOME, though ( at 8:13 ). I think it's super neat this follows up the original series like it does, although now I'm a little confused. Does this then take place BEFORE Peter David's second volume of Spider-Man 2099? The stuff that came out in the 20-teens? Eh... I'll just not worry about it and enjoy it, lol.

Miguel having blue eyes in this comic threw me off so bad. His red eyes is such a distinct feature to his character like how did they get that wrong

Love seeing the return of reviews, always like hearing what’s going on in comics since I only read manga now.

Tha Orlando run is kinda meh since it's literally just an episodic "Monster of the week" series where nothing in one issue carries over to any of the others. It's in the same continuity as the Alpha, Omega, Exodus, Dark Genesis etc comics from a few years ago which DID have an overarching plot so this is a really weird decision. It's like they still want to use the Earth - 2099 version of the character but have absolutely no idea what to actually have him do, so now he's just fighting zombies, werewolves and Dracula. Also none of the issues have the same artist and nobody even tries to make him look consistent, so it's really weird to read issue 1 and have a Miguel that is designed to look like his original comic version, and then in issue 3 it's literally just ATSV Miguel pre-gains. This, I am exited about though. Peter David returning AND it's a direct continuation of the original run? My 🐈 can only get so 💦. Sucks it was all sold out at my local comic book store so I have to wait for an order to come in.

I don't get why this is not considered a key issue? On Key Collector Comics it straight up said "Non-Key Issue".
