Your video illustrated my struggle to find peace within myself after the death of my son by a gunshot homicide. When it happened 6 yrs ago I was able to have understanding that life is like that-- there's joy and sorrow that are interconnected in our lives, and we all have responsibility in how we interact with each other, so as not to create the imbalance ourselves. It's inevitable and for some of us this imbalance is of a sharper opposite than for others, with the kind of incidents we experience. I didn't arrive at this video looking for affirmation of my experience in the struggle to find peace, I came here because I had seen Alex's post-surgery video. Now, I've found this beautiful affirmation of my thoughts on my son's life and unjustified death. Roland was 35 yr old when he was shot and killed. He had a tattoo of the yin yang symbol done by his younger brother when they were teens. The guy who shot Roland was raised as a Buddhist. i did have forgiveness and told him so in my first words to him, but he never said he was sorry. ( no prosecution could be done, so no arrest or accountability in this) Ultimately, the young man wrote one sentence to me " It is time for you to learn the first noble truth". In these 6 years, this internal division of good and evil and how to find my understanding of it and peace within my heart, I've found peace along the way in random places. I want you to know that your video is helpful along my path. thank you, ( and thank your brother Alex also, because it was his video, and my feelings toward him, that led me here. thanks so much. ( my son can be seen or heard on videos, if you want to see him, some of them under "Rolando and the Good Kind". He's the djembe drummer with long light brown dreadlocks) I can still hear his voice and his music. This also is a mix of joy and sorrow for me. Thank you.

Yin Yang Together form a unity of life vs death. Death is just as important as Life. When we die to live we are creating forms in the Universe. Let's be thankful for such balance in harmony.

This is demonic evil teaching. God is pure good and asks us to strive for the same. For one to believe in this philosophy darkens the heart. Try to understand the teachings of the lord and make your inner self bright with his forgiveness and love. Don't surrender your soul to this dark teaching.

Even if this philosophy is darkness. Our so called darkness is needed to bring balance. And what's so bad about yin and yang. Just take it easy. Heaven is a lie, you can't be in total hapiness and joy all the time, because this bring disbalance.

@canadiankewldude actually, Kelpo Cream is kinda right. I know this comment's a year old, but please hear me out as a fellow Christian. Ecclesiastes 3:3-4 does say that there will be "A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;" So in a way, we Christians actually do have a philosophy that is similar to the Yin Yang. There will be both positive and negative times to bear through, but in the end our total joy comes from the Lord Almighty. I appreciate your effort to warn about the certain dangers of the Yin Yang, but it's mostly the mystical teachings you should be worried about, not the philosophy. Hopefully you take the time to grasp this. If you did, I appreciate your time to read this! God bless you my brother. don't forget to love one another, even our enemies.
